Eze 22:26 “Her priests have done violence to My teaching and they profane My set-apart matters. They have not distinguished between the set-apart and profane, nor have they made known the difference between the unclean and the clean. And they have hidden their eyes from My Sabbaths, and I am profaned in their midst.
Twenty six hundred years since those words were spoken, Preached, to all of Yisra’el and Still there is no teaching of ‘distinguishing between the set-apart and profane’, according to Scripture, outside the Books of the prophets in Tanahk.
For me, YHWH only has to say something once and I will follow and obey His command(s). That is the right way for any father/son relationship. The more respect the father receives from his son, the more readily the son obeys and joyfully completes what is asked of him.
When YHWH repeats over and over and over again a precept of Torah, He means it, He is instructing us how He expects us to live. Much of Scripture speaks of what is clean , and what is unclean. There are other terms He used in the Scriptures that are equal in meaning to the words ‘clean and unclean’. Let’s take a look at some of these synominous words and how many times they are used in the Scripture.
6. Cleanse or Cleansed
These are just the terms related to Clean and Unclean that I can think of off the top of my head. It seems pretty obvious that YHWH expects us to stand clean and blameless before Him, at all times as part of; “Guarding His Commandments”.
If then we do become unclean or defiled by mistake, or by the fault of another, and we are taking the steps as prescribed in the Torah, He will, I am sure, take that into consideration, we are fulfilling His Torah commands.
Much of what follows is repetitive and has to do with the details of this issue, I leave most of the verses in, as a visual to emphasize the importance of learning what is clean/unclean, I have though, removed several pages of verses as repetitive and unrelated to the content of this study. Don’t be intimidated by the length of this study, 25-30 pages of it you can simply skim over if you’d like, I will highlight the Scriptures that pertain to this study and its intent and make any comments just following those highlighted verses.
It does stress the importance of remaining clean as much as humanly possible, and what is ‘humanly possible’ is greatly strengthened when we “circumcise our heart” and submit to YHWH/YHWSHA and His Word, His Way, His Way of Life that leads to Everlasting Life. Any other path leads astray and to destruction!
Mat 12:33 “Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree rotten and its fruit rotten, for a tree is known by its fruit.
Mat 12:34 “Brood of adders! How are you able to speak what is good – being wicked? For the mouth speaks from the overflow of the heart.
Mat 12:35 “The good man brings forth what is good from the good treasures of his heart, and the wicked man brings forth what is wicked from the wicked treasure.
Mat 12:36 “And I say to you that for every idle word men speak, they shall give an account of it in the day of judgment.
Mat 12:37 “For by your words you shall be declared righteous, and by your words you shall be declared unrighteous.”
Mat 15:11 “Not that which goes into the mouth defiles the man, but that which comes out of the mouth, this defiles the man.”
Mat 15:12 Then His taught ones came and said to Him, “Do You know that the Pharisees stumbled when they heard this word?”
Mat 15:13 But He answering, said, “Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted shall be uprooted.
Mat 15:14 “Leave them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both shall fall into a ditch.”
Mat 15:15 And Kĕpha answering, said to Him, “Explain this parable to us.”
Mat 15:16 And יהושע said, “Are you also still without understanding?
Mat 15:17 “Do you not understand that whatever enters into the mouth goes into the stomach, and is cast out in the sewer?
Mat 15:18 “But what comes out of the mouth comes from the heart, and these defile the man.
Mat 15:19 “For out of the heart come forth wicked reasonings, murders, adulteries, whorings, thefts, false witnessings, slanders.
Mat 15:20 “These defile the man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile the man.”
Our ‘words’ defile us.! Make us unclean!
If what comes out of our mouth is not in righteousness and for the purpose of bringing others to the Truth, or in rebuke or reproof, in YHWH’s Name, those who are transgressing His commands, or in Praise of Him, and if your words do not have to do with the task at hand, and that task is in ‘right-ruling’, then your words are “idle words”. If those words bring to mind defiled ‘things’, or insults or degradation of anyone, as in ‘gossip’, they are worse than just idle. Gossip defiles everyone involved, and in Mashiach’s teaching. Gossip is a form of murder and really it is multiple murder, because you are not only killing the person(s) being gossiped about, but it is self-murder as these sins condemn us to death. As we will see, we will answer for these words.
Mat 22:1 And יהושע responded and spoke to them again by parables and said,
Mat 22:2 “The reign of the heavens is like a man, a sovereign, who made a wedding feast for his son,
Mat 22:3 and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding feast. But they would not come.
Mat 22:4 “Again he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Say to those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner. My oxen and fattened cattle are slaughtered, and all is ready. Come to the wedding feast.” ’
Mat 22:5 “But they disregarded it and went their way – this one to his field, that one to his trade.
Mat 22:6 “And the rest, having seized his servants, insulted and killed them.
Mat 22:7 “But when the sovereign heard, he was wroth, and sent out his soldiers, destroyed those murderers, and set their city on fire.
Mat 22:8 “Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding feast, indeed, is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.
Mat 22:9 ‘Therefore go into the street corners, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding feast.’
Mat 22:10 “And those servants went out into the street corners and gathered all whom they found, both wicked and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests.
Mat 22:11 “And when the sovereign came in to view the guests, he saw there a man who had not put on a wedding garment,
Mat 22:12 and he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here not having a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless.
Mat 22:13 “Then the sovereign said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and throw him out into the outer darkness – there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
Mat 22:14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.”
The ‘chosen’ are all those who choose to follow Mashiach YHWSHA and Him ONLY!
If you look at that word ‘chosen’ in the Greek Concordance you will find the more correct word ‘elect’ i.e; “For many are called, but few elect.” Is the wording in the Textus Receptus. Few elect to, or ‘choose’ to, follow Mashiach and Him only, we must be following Mashiach in order to come to The Father.
Yah’s Ways are higher than our ways. We do not always understand why He commands what He commands, possibly, if only to see if we will obey Him.
What prompted this study is my own experience with my next door neighbor. I have lived at that location for 1½ year and for a long time we were friendly and cordial but not “friends”. He is an avid fisherman and has a very nice bass-boat. I went with him once for a day of fishing and had the perfect opportunity to witness, being very careful not to offend, being in the middle of a very large lake, LOL! That was maybe a year ago.
His ears seem to be open to at least some of the truth and he became more interested in what I revealed to him. In the beginning his language was very hard for me to handle and I tried to ignore it for some time and I finally said something to him about how YHWH hates that kind of talk and for about 10 months he was a great deal more careful, in my presence, at least.
Then he suffered a couple of heart-attacks and has reverted to even worse, seemingly uncontrollable, foul language. At the same time he had these heart attacks, his fiancé, after a 5 year relationship, ended, badly. His health at risk 24/7 and his heart broken by a woman who showed no compassion for his heart and let him drive alone 100 miles to Phoenix for a pre-arranged function and then, at the last moment, informed him she was not going.
He crashed his Mustang en route and totaled it and was injured and very shaken-up. He was angry to say the least.
As I believe that every Word of YHWH is Truth and applies to each and every one of us, I believe YHWH is making all those with the ears to hear and the eyes to see, Watchmen for Him. And we are responsible for the True Knowledge He gives, and therefore, I feel a need to rebuke my friend in this again and this time with more information and Scripture to rebuke him with.
This is what I found. Everything that comes before YHWH must be made clean before they approach Him to present their offering, and the offering must be clean as well. Nothing unclean or defiled will be accepted.
Used 180 times in 160 verses, some have been omitted here, as not pertaining to this study.
“Of all the clean beasts take with you seven pairs, a male and his female; and of the beasts that are unclean two, a male and his female;
Of the clean beasts and of the beasts that are unclean, and of birds, and of all that creep on the earth,
And Noaḥ built an altar to יהוה, and took of every clean beast and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
“Then you shall make of these an incense, a compound, work of a perfumer, salted, clean, set-apart.
And he made the set-apart anointing oil and the clean incense of sweet spices, according to the work of the perfumer.
all of the bull – he shall bring outside the camp to a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn it on wood with fire. Where the ashes are poured out it is burned.
‘And he shall take off his garments, and put on other garments, and shall bring the ashes outside the camp to a clean place.
‘And the flesh that touches that which is unclean is not eaten, it is burned with fire. And as for the clean flesh, all who are clean eat of it.
Lev 10:9 “Do not drink wine or strong drink, you, nor your sons with you, when you go into the Tent of Meeting, lest you die – a law forever throughout your generations,
Lev 10:10 so as to make a distinction between the set-apart and the profane, and between the unclean and the clean,
Lev 10:11 and to teach the children of Yisra’ĕl all the laws which יהוה has spoken to them by the hand of Mosheh.”
In Mashiach, we will rule with Him and be His priests, with Him as our High Priest, and now the Heykal of YHWH is in the hearts of the True Faithful Followers of YHWSHA Messiah.
Here we have the command of Torah to not drink wine or strong drink, when we come before Him, we should therefore, Not drink wine on Shabath or before Shabath, as His Hekal is within us.
“And the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the contribution you eat in a clean place, you, and your sons, and your daughters with you. For they are yours by law and your sons’ by law, which are given from the slaughterings of peace offerings of the children of Yisra’el.
‘And whatever any of them in its dead state falls upon, becomes unclean, whether it is any wooden object or garment or skin or sack, any object in which work is done, it is put in water. And it shall be unclean until evening, then it shall be clean.
‘But a fountain or a well, a collection of water, is clean, but whatever touches their carcass is unclean.
‘And when any of their carcass falls on any planting seed which is to be sown, it is clean.
to make a distinction between the unclean and the clean, and between the living creature that is eaten and the living creature that is not eaten.’ ”
‘And if she is not able to bring a lamb, then she shall bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons, one as a burnt offering and the other as a sin offering. And the priest shall make atonement for her, and she shall be clean.’ ”
“And the priest shall look at him again on the seventh day and see, if the infection has darkened, and the infection has not spread on the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. It is a scab, and he shall wash his garments and be clean.
then the priest shall look and see, if the leprosy has covered all his body, he shall pronounce the infected one clean. It has all turned white, he is clean.
“And the priest shall look at him and see, if the infection has turned white, then the priest shall pronounce the infected one clean, he is clean.
“But if the bright spot stays in its place, it has not spread, it is the scar of the boil, and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
“But if the bright spot stays in its place, and has not spread on the skin, but has faded, it is a swelling from the burn. And the priest shall pronounce him clean, for it is the scar from the burn.
“And on the seventh day the priest shall look at the eruption and see, if the eruption has not spread over the skin, and does not appear deeper than the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. And he shall wash his garments, and he shall be clean.
“But if the eruption appears to have stayed, and there is black hair grown up in it, the eruption has healed. He is clean, and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
then the priest shall look and see, if the bright spots on the skin of the body are dull white, it is a white spot that grows on the skin, he is clean.
“And when a man loses the hair of his head, he is bald, he is clean.
“And if the hair has fallen from his forehead, he is bald on the forehead, he is clean.
“And if you wash the garment, or the warp or the weft, or any leather object, if the infection has disappeared from it, then it shall be washed a second time, and shall be clean.
“This is the Torah of the infection of leprosy in a garment of wool or linen, or in the warp or in the weft, or in any leather object, to pronounce it clean or to pronounce it unclean.”
then the priest shall command, and he shall take for him who is to be cleansed two live and clean birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop.
“And he shall sprinkle it seven times on him who is to be cleansed from the leprosy, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the live bird loose in the open field.
“And he who is to be cleansed shall wash his garments, and shall shave off all his hair and wash himself in water, and shall be clean. Then after that he comes into the camp, but shall stay outside his tent seven days.
“And on the seventh day it shall be that he shaves all the hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shaves off. And he shall wash his garments and wash his body in water, and shall be clean.
“And the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the grain offering on the altar. And the priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be clean.
“However, if the priest indeed comes in and looks at it and sees that the plague has not spread in the house after the house was plastered, then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.
and he shall let the live bird loose outside the city in the open field, and shall make atonement for the house, and it shall be clean.
to teach when it is unclean and when it is clean. This is the Torah of leprosy.”
‘And when he who has the discharge spits on him who is clean, then he shall wash his garments, and shall bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.
‘And when he who has a discharge is cleansed of his discharge, then he shall count for himself seven days for his cleansing, and shall wash his garments, and shall bathe his flesh in running water, and be clean.
‘But if she is cleansed of her discharge, then she shall count for herself seven days, and after that she is clean.
“For on that day he makes atonement for you, to cleanse you, to be clean from all your sins before יהוה.
“And any being who eats a carcass or what was torn by a beast, be he a native or a stranger, he shall wash his garments and bathe in water, and shall be unclean until evening. Then he shall be clean.
‘And you shall make a distinction between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean birds and clean. And do not make yourselves abominable by beast or by bird, or whatever creeps on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.
‘Any man of the offspring of Aharon, who is a leper or has a discharge, does not eat the set-apart offerings until he is clean. And whoever touches what is rendered unclean by a corpse, or a man who has had an emission of semen,
‘And when the sun goes down he shall be clean, and afterward eat the set-apart offerings, because it is his food.
“And you shall set them in two rows, six in a row, on the clean table before יהוה.
‘But if the woman has not defiled herself, and is clean, then she shall be clear and shall conceive children.
‘But the man who is clean and is not on a journey, and has failed to perform the Passover, that same being shall be cut off from among his people, because he did not bring the offering of יהוה at its appointed time – that man bears his sin.
“This also is yours: the contribution of their gift, with all the wave offerings of the children of Yisra’el. I have given them to you, and your sons and daughters with you, as a law forever. Everyone who is clean in your house eats it.
“The first-fruits of all that is in their land, which they bring to יהוה, are yours. Everyone who is clean in your house eats it.
‘And a clean man shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and shall place them outside the camp in a clean place. And they shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Yisra’el for the water for uncleanness, it is for cleansing from sin.
‘He is to cleanse himself with the water on the third day, and on the seventh day he is clean. But if he does not cleanse himself on the third day, then on the seventh day he is not clean.
‘And a clean man shall take hyssop and dip it in the water, and shall sprinkle it on the tent, and on all the vessels, and on the beings who were there, or on the one who touched a bone, or the slain, or the dead, or a grave.
‘And the clean one shall sprinkle the unclean on the third day and on the seventh day. And on the seventh day he shall cleanse himself, and shall wash his garments and bathe in water, and shall be clean in the evening.
every object that passes through fire, you put through the fire, and it shall be clean; only, let it be cleansed with the water for uncleanness. And whatever does not pass through fire you pass through water.
“And you shall wash your garments on the seventh day and be clean, and afterwards come into the camp.”
“Only, whatever your being desires you shall slaughter and eat, according to the blessing of יהוה your Elohim which He has given you, within all your gates. The unclean and the clean do eat of it, of the gazelle and the deer alike.
“Only, as the gazelle and the deer are eaten, so you are to eat of it. The unclean and the clean alike eat of it.
Every year at Sukkot the same question is always raised when this verse is read. This doesn’t imply that they eat unclean food, but rather, it is not necessary for you to be clean in eating these; non-sacrificial, offerings, these are what you eat at home. We will always eat only ‘clean’ foods, but we must be ‘clean’ to eat communal, offerings.
“Any clean bird you do eat.
“When there is any man among you who is not clean because of an emission in the night, then he shall go outside the camp. Let him not come into the midst of the camp.
But Sha’ul spoke not a word that day, for he thought, “It is an accident; he is not clean, for he has not been cleansed.”
“With the clean You show Yourself clean, And with the crooked You show Yourself twisted.
And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, “Go, and you shall wash seven times in the Yardĕn, that your flesh might be restored to you, and be clean.”
And his servants came near and spoke to him, and said, “My father, if the prophet had spoken to you a great matter, would you not have done it? How much more then, when he says to you, ‘Wash, and be clean’?”
Then he went down and dipped seven times in the Yardĕn, according to the word of the man of Elohim. And his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.
For many in the assembly had not set themselves apart. Therefore the Lewites were over the slaughter of the Passover for everyone who was not clean, to set them apart to יהוה.
for the priests and the Lewites had cleansed themselves – all of them were clean. And they slaughtered the Passover for all the sons of the exile, and for their brothers the priests, and for themselves.
‘Is mortal man more righteous than Eloah? Is man more clean than his Maker?
Since you have said, ‘My discourse is flawless, and I have been clean in Your eyes.’
Who brings the clean out of the unclean? No one!
What is man, that he should be clean? And one born of a woman, that he should be righteous?
Look, He puts no trust in His set-apart ones, and the heavens are not clean in His eyes,
And the righteous holds to his way, and he who has clean hands becomes stronger and stronger.
These are critical verses in the arguments for ‘righteousness’ and for those who for whatever reason think that we,(or rather) they, cannot be righteous. This is exactly the argument of the whole Book of Iyob. Iyob’s friends argued that no one can be righteous, and just claiming to be righteous, as Iyob did, in their eyes they ‘hear’ or take that to say that anyone who claims to be righteous, is saying they are ‘more’ righteous than YHWH, which is simply not true. Iyob never said he was more righteous than YHWH!
At the end of the Book of Iyob, his friends were the ones deemed unrighteous by YHWH and Iyob was declared righteous by YHWH. This should settle the matter, but too many do not have the eyes to see and the ears to hear His Truth. And when you hear the words of the Prophet Yehezqel in chptrs 3,18 and 33, ‘righteousness’ is again the only Way.
The Words of יהוה are clean Words, Silver tried in a furnace of earth, Refined seven times.
With the clean You show Yourself clean; And with the crooked You show Yourself twisted.
The fear of יהוה is clean, standing forever; The right-rulings of יהוה are true, They are righteous altogether,
He who has innocent hands and a clean heart, Who did not bring his life to naught, And did not swear deceivingly.
Cleanse me with hyssop, and I am clean; Wash me, and I am whiter than snow.
Create in me a clean heart, O Elohim, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Elohim is truly good to Yisra’el, To those whose heart is clean.
Where there are no oxen, the crib is clean; But from the strength of an ox comes much increase.
Evil thoughts are an abomination to יהוה, But pleasant words are clean.
All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes, But יהוה weighs the spirits.
There is a generation, clean in its own eyes, But not washed from its own filth.
“Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Stop doing evil!
I don’t need to say anything, this says it all ! I must however, include here all the wisdom that surrounds this little nugget.
Yeshayahu 1:2 Hear, O heavens, and listen, O earth! For יהוה has spoken, “I have reared and brought up children, but they have transgressed against Me.
Yeshayahu 1:3 An ox knows its owner and a donkey its master’s crib – Yisra’el does not know, My people have not understood.”
Yeshayahu 1:4 Alas, sinning nation, a people loaded with crookedness, a seed of evil-doers, sons acting corruptly! They have forsaken יהוה, they have provoked the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl, they went backward.
Yeshayahu 1:5 Why should you be beaten any more? You continue in apostasy! All the head is sick, and all the heart faints.
Yeshayahu 1:6 From the sole of the foot, to the head, there is no soundness in it – wounds and bruises and open sores; they have not been closed or bound up, or soothed with ointment.
Yeshayahu 1:7 Your land is laid waste, your cities are burned with fire, strangers devour your land in your presence. And it is laid waste, as overthrown by strangers.
Yeshayahu 1:8 And the daughter of Tsiyon is left as a booth in a vineyard, as a hut in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city.
Yeshayahu 1:9 Unless יהוה of hosts had left to us a small remnant, we would have become like Seḏom, we would have been made like Amorah.
Yeshayahu 1:10 Hear the word of יהוה, you rulers of Seḏom; give ear to the Torah of our Elohim, you people of Amorah!
Yeshayahu 1:11 “Of what use to Me are your many slaughterings?” declares יהוה. “I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts. I do not delight in the blood of bulls, or of lambs or goats.
Yeshayahu 1:12 “When you come to appear before Me, who has required this from your hand, to trample My courtyards?
Yeshayahu 1:13 “Stop bringing futile offerings, incense, it is an abomination to Me. New Moons, Sabbaths, the calling of meetings – I am unable to bear unrighteousness and assembly.
Yeshayahu 1:14 “My being hates your New Moons and your appointed times, they are a trouble to Me, I am weary of bearing them.
Yeshayahu 1:15 “And when you spread out your hands, I hide My eyes from you; even though you make many prayers, I do not hear. Your hands have become filled with blood.
Yeshayahu 1:16 “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Stop doing evil!
Yeshayahu 1:17 “Learn to do good! Seek right-ruling, reprove the oppressor, defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.
Yeshayahu 1:18 “Come now, and let us reason together,” says יהוה. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
Yeshayahu 1:19 “If you submit and obey, you shall eat the good of the land;
Turn aside! Turn aside! Come out from there, touch not the unclean. Come out of her midst, be clean, you who bear the vessels of יהוה.
If He abides in us, by the Qodesh Ruach, are we not bearing the vessels of YHWH?
“And they shall bring all your brothers as an offering to יהוה out of all the gentiles, on horses and in chariots and in litters, on mules and on camels, to My set-apart mountain Yerushalayim,” declares יהוה, “as the children of Yisra’ĕl bring an offering in a clean vessel into the House of יהוה.
your adulteries and your neighings, the wickedness of your whoring! I have seen your abominations on the hills in the fields. Woe to you, O Yerushalayim! How long before you would be made clean?”

“In your filthiness is wickedness. Because I have cleansed you, but you are not clean. You shall not be cleansed of your filthiness any more, till I have caused My wrath to rest upon you.
“And I shall sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean – from all your filthiness and from all your idols I cleanse you.
“And they are to teach My people the difference between the set-apart and the profane, and make them know what is unclean and clean.
You, whose eyes are too clean to see evil, You are not able to look on wrong. Why do You look on those who act treacherously – keep silent when the wrong devours one more righteous than he?
“For then I shall turn unto the peoples a clean lip, so that they all call on the Name of יהוה, to serve Him with one shoulder.
And I said, “Let them put a clean turban on his head.” Then they put a clean turban on his head, and they put garments on him. And the messenger of יהוה stood by.
“For from the rising of the sun, even to its going down, My Name is great among nations. And in every place incense is presented to My Name, and a clean offering. For My Name is great among nations,” said יהוה of hosts.
“Blessed are the clean in heart, because they shall see Elohim.
And see, a leper came, and bowed before Him, saying, “Master, if You desire, You are able to make me clean.”
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are filled with plunder and unrighteousness.
“Blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the cup and dish, so that the outside of them becomes clean too.
And having taken the body, Yoseph wrapped it in clean linen,
And a leper came to Him, calling upon Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, “If You desire, You are able to make me clean.”
And the Master said to him, “Now you Pharisees make the outside of the cup and dish clean, but your inward part is filled with greed and wickedness.
“But give in kindness of that which is within, and see, all are clean to you.

For He knew who would deliver Him up, so He said, “You are not all clean.”
“You are already clean because of the Word which I have spoken to you.
let us draw near with a true heart in completeness of belief, having our hearts sprinkled from a wicked conscience and our bodies washed with clean water.
Clean and undefiled worship before the Elohim and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.
But the wisdom from above is first clean, then peaceable, gentle, ready to obey, filled with compassion and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
Now that you have cleansed your lives in obeying the truth through the Spirit to unfeigned brotherly love, love one another fervently with a clean heart,
And everyone having this expectation in Him cleanses himself, as He is clean.

‘And it shall be a law for them forever. And the one who sprinkles the water for uncleanness washes his garments. And the one who touches the water for uncleanness is unclean until evening.
‘And whatever the unclean being touches is unclean. And the being who touches it is unclean until evening.’ ”
“But of those chewing the cud or those having a split hoof completely divided, you do not eat, such as these: the camel, and the hare, and the rabbit, for they chew the cud but do not have a split hoof, they are unclean for you.

‘I have not eaten any of it when in mourning, nor have I removed any of it for any unclean use, nor given any of it for the dead. I have obeyed the voice of יהוה my Elohim, I have done according to all that You have commanded me.
‘And indeed, if the land of your possession is unclean, then pass over to the land of the possession of יהוה, where the Dwelling Place of יהוה dwells, and take possession among us. But do not rebel against יהוה, nor rebel against us, by building yourselves an altar besides the altar of יהוה our Elohim.
“And now, please guard, and do not drink wine or strong drink, and do not eat any unclean food.
“And He said to me, ‘See, you are conceiving and bearing a son. And now, drink no wine or strong drink, nor eat any unclean food, for the youth is a Nazirite to Elohim from the womb to the day of his death.’ ”
“Let her not eat any food that comes from the vine, neither let her drink wine or strong drink, or eat any unclean food. Let her guard all that which I have commanded her.”
And he set the gatekeepers at the gates of the House of יהוה, so that no one who was in any way unclean should enter.
which You have commanded by Your servants the prophets, saying, ‘The land which you are going in to possess is a land unclean through the uncleanness of the peoples of the lands, by their abominations with which they have filled it, from one end to another, by their uncleanness.
Who brings the clean out of the unclean? No one!

They shouted at them, “Away! Unclean! Away! Away! Touch not!” When they fled and staggered, They said, among the gentiles, “They shall stay no longer.”
Then I said, “Ah, Master יהוה! See, I have never defiled myself from my youth till now. I have never eaten what died of itself or was torn by beasts, nor has unclean meat ever come into my mouth.”

Mat_12:36 “And I say to you that for every idle word men speak, they shall give an account of it in the day of judgment.
Idle; unnecessary; or as Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines:
Definition of IDLE. 1: lacking worth or basis : vain <idle chatter> <idle pleasure> 2: not occupied or employed: as . a: having no employment : inactive <idle workers>
Strong, slang, dirty and foul language, all qualify as; ‘idle words’. Cussing is a language of ignorance, it is a language of paganism, it is rude, crude and it defiles us in the eyes of the Father.
According to YHWH and His Torah, there are things that make us unclean, even when we have done nothing to cause it, other than being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Someone dies next to you or even in the same room, you are made unclean. You are made unclean being in the same room with even a close relative’s dead body. Touching an unclean creature makes you unclean. And these things are atoned for IF; you wash your garments and bathe in water, and still, you are not clean until evening. But at sunset your atonement is complete.
There is also uncleanness that another person can cause. When we hear someone cussing, cursing, or speaking evil; we become unclean by their sin. Doesn’t sound fair, does it? That is what He said; “My ways are not your ways…” and you will say “YHWH’s ways are not fair”, but it is not YHWH’s ways that are not fair but ‘our’ ways…” Just because we do not understand something doesn’t make it fair or unfair.
Are we going to perish in Gehennah for these ‘uncleanesses’? probably not, because YHWH knows you were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. But if you fail to take being ‘unclean’ seriously for these innocent events, and complete the vow (oath or covenant) that we all accept, in order to enter the family of Yisra’el, and wash our garments and bathe and prepare for sunset to be ‘cleansed’.
This keeps us aware and should help caution one to do all in their power to not become unclean by our own fault.
By knowing what is ‘clean’ and what is ‘unclean’ , we set our focus on being ‘clean’, guarding the commands of YHWH. This is just part of ‘the fear of YHWH’. “unclean until evening” is used 32 times in 30 verses in the Torah. anything repeated this often must carry a great deal of importance.
In believing His every Word. As He spoke through His prophets, making servants of all who would hear the call of the prophets and answered, “many are called, few choose”, those few are made ’watchmen’, becoming servants of YHWH/YAHUSHA.
Luk 11:37 And as He spoke, a certain Pharisee asked Him to dine with him, so He went in and sat down to eat.
Luk 11:38 And when the Pharisee saw it, he marvelled that He did not first wash before dinner.
Luk 11:39 And the Master said to him, “Now you Pharisees make the outside of the cup and dish clean, but your inward part is filled with greed and wickedness.
Luk 11:40 “Mindless ones! Did not He who made the outside make the inside also?
Luk 11:41 “But give in kindness of that which is within, and see, all are clean to you.
Luk 11:42 “But woe to you Pharisees, because you tithe the mint and the rue and every plant, and pass by the right-ruling and the love of Elohim. These you should have done, without leaving the others undone.
If you wash your garments and bathe, but do not prepare yourself for the ‘cleansing’, you are not fulfilling Torah, you are going through the motions but your heart is not in it.
Right-ruling and ‘clean and unclean’ work hand in hand. We are judged for being wrong and rewarded for doing right. Our sins that we have committed from our youth will be forgiven; only upon our death and only if we have repented of them. We can compare our past sins with a well kept file system on our computers. To ‘clean’ out our files, we put them into the trash bin to be forever deleted at a future time. Like the system allows those files to be restored ‘as they were’, if you do not keep the oath of the Torah once you have repented, and then return to your old ways, like a dog returning to his own vomit. These sins can and will be restored to your shame. As YHWSHA said “go and sin no more”, He did not say ‘go and do not sin that particular sin again’. And in another place He stated, in the parable of the 'clean' house, that returning to your old ways will leave you worse off than before. And in another place it is written: “Once you have come to the knowledge of the Truth and then continue in sin, there will be no repentance for you.” ( I paraphrased that).
Once we become ‘clean’, having repented and fulfilled Torah, in these regards, we must do all in our power to remain ‘clean’, and undefiled by the ‘world’. Outside forces can make us ‘unclean’ and we need to stay aware and deal with these things as they come. As the Prophet Yehezqel stated in 22:26; we must know, and the Shepherds must teach the difference of what is ‘clean’ and what is ‘unclean’.
Keep yourself ‘Clean’! (Yehezqel 3, 18, and 33). And like the 10 maidens YHWSHA spoke of; trim your wicks and stay ‘Ready’ (Clean).

Today, since we do not offer the blood of ‘clean’ unblemished, Perfect animals, we offer our ‘clean’, unblemished selves to YHWH. We, all who desire to ‘Live’ in His Reign, must be made ‘clean’ by YHWSHA Mashiach, who replaces the blood of bulls and rams. There is no other Way, nor by ANY other name. HE makes us clean and removes our crippling afflictions. And as YHWSHA said; “sin no more, so that worse things do not come upon you”, which is to say; “STOP SINNING, Or You Will Die!!
All who have been made clean by Mashiach came to Him seeking His presence, seeking forgiveness, and then when He witnessed their belief, He made them ‘Clean’.
Lev_18:21 ‘And do not give any of your offspring to pass through to Moleḵ. And do not profane the Name of your Elohim. I am יהוה.
Lev_19:12 ‘And do not swear falsely by My Name and so profane the Name of your Elohim. I am יהוה.

Eze_23:39 “For when they had slain their children for their idols, on the same day they came into My set-apart place to profane it. And see, that is what they did in the midst of My House.
Eze_28:7 therefore see, I am bringing against you strangers, the ruthless ones of the nations. And they shall draw their swords against the loveliness of your wisdom, and they shall profane your splendour.
Eze_44:7 that you brought in sons of a foreigner, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in My set-apart place to profane it, My house! That you brought near My food, the fat and the blood, and you broke My covenant because of all your abominations.
Dan_11:31 “And strong ones shall arise from him and profane the set-apart place, the stronghold, and shall take away that which is continual, and set up the abomination that lays waste.
Dan_11:32 “And by flatteries he shall profane those who do wrong against the covenant, but the people who know their Elohim shall be strong, and shall act.
Mal_2:10 Have we not all one Father? Did not one Ěl create us? Why do we act treacherously against one another, to profane the covenant of the fathers?
Mat_12:5 “Or did you not read in the Torah that on the Sabbath the priests in the Set-apart Place profane the Sabbath, and are blameless?

1Ti_1:9 knowing this: that Torah is not laid down for a righteous being, but for the lawless and unruly, for the wicked and for sinners, for the wrong-doers and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers,
1Ti_4:7 But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise yourself rather to reverence.
1Ti_6:20 O Timothy! Watch over that which has been entrusted to you, turning aside from the profane and empty babblings and contradictions of the falsely called ‘knowledge,’
2Ti_2:16 But keep away from profane, empty babblings, for they go on to more wickedness,
Heb_12:16 lest there be anyone who whores, or profane one, like Ěsaw, who for a single meal sold his birthright.
Jer 6:15 Were they ashamed when they had done abomination? No! They were not at all ashamed, nor did they know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall. They shall stumble at the time I visit them,” said יהוה.
Jer 6:16 Thus said יהוה, “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; and find rest for yourselves. But they said, ‘We do not walk in it.’
Eze 39:23 “And the gentiles shall know that the house of Yisra’ĕl went into exile for their crookedness, because they have trespassed against Me, so that I hid My face from them, and I gave them into the hand of their adversaries, and they all fell by the sword.
Eze 39:24 “According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions I have dealt with them, and hidden My face from them.” ’
Eze 39:25 “Therefore thus said the Master יהוה, ‘Now I am going to bring back the captives of Ya’aqob. And I shall have compassion on all the house of Yisra’ĕl, and shall be jealous for My set-apart Name.
Eze 39:26 ‘And they shall have borne their shame, and all their trespass they committed against Me, when they dwell safely in their own land, with none to make them afraid,
Eze 39:27 when I have brought them back from the peoples and gathered them out of the lands of their enemies. And I shall be set apart in them before the eyes of many gentiles.
Eze 39:28 ‘And they shall know that I am יהוה their Elohim, who sent them into exile among the gentiles, and then gathered them back to their own land, and left none of them behind.
Eze 39:29 ‘And no longer do I hide My face from them, for I shall have poured out My Spirit on the house of Yisra’ĕl,’ declares the Master יהוה.”
You cannot bare your shame until you see the error and know how you have transgressed against YHWH.
[v.28] “…leaving none of them behind.” The word ‘them’ are those who have come beyond the shame and turned to YHWH and answered the call that Yehezqel and all YHWH’s Prophets delivered. And then the same call or invitation came by Mashiach YHWSHA, who calls us to REPENT and follow Him; ‘them’ are the True Remnant, Obedient and Faithful, House of Yisra’el, who like the congregation of Philadelphia, YHWH has nothing against. These are the Only ones who escape the Wrath of the “Time of Ya’aqob’s Trouble”, and the Great Day of YHWH.
In YHWH’s own words; “Those who are sinning, shall Perish”. That means all of us whether a native Hebrew, or the sojourner, who has entered His Covenant, and every gentile on the face of the earth as well. The gentiles will perish because they had every opportunity to learn the Word of YHWH and never did, their fate is sealed. And I think it will probably be worse for those who have entered His Covenant, and then turned away, knowing the Torah and simply refusing to obey. Mashiach said as much, as we discussed earlier, if you have swept and made your house ‘clean’ and then defile it with the false teachings of men, you will end up worse than before and His judgments will take into consideration the fact that you knew what was ‘clean’ and right, but you ‘chose’ to disobey.
I am not surprised that this Book of Mal’aki was saved, or set in order, to be the last of the Prophets included in the Hebrew Tanach. Short and concise, it summarizes all the Prophets, and finally rebukes the priesthood for their lack of shepherding the people. Yes, other Prophets did make a statement here and there in rebuke of the priests, but Mal’aki focuses on the priesthood, and rightfully so. It is little known, but the high priests serving the House of YHWH, truly had more power than any of the sovereigns, and they should have been more involved, but this was their failure, they lost the balance of power by negligence.
Dawid listened to his high priest and we can see that his realm was of prosperity in many ways, in wealth, in health as no one was going hungry, and the land prospered, it was more like the Garden of Eden, plush and green, it was truly the land of milk and honey. Similarly during the reign of Hizqiyahu, he also listened and consulted with the high priests and in his vigor to do what was right in the eyes of YHWH, they found the Torah that had been lost and practically forgotten. Hizqiyahu and the high priests saved Yahudah from being destroyed due to the abominations of the past sovereigns. At least they caused a postponement of the inevitable for a few years.
As in all life, until Mshiach returns, when righteousness arises, wickedness will follow and take the righteous away and scatter them. And at the death of this righteous sovereign of Yisra’el who had just saved Yahudah from the wrath of YHWH, the O’ so wicked Menashsheh rose and destroyed every righteous thing Hizqiyahu had done. It is no surprise that Mashiach would be followed by one who would lead the people astray AGAIN, following an ‘unknown god’, and Stealing the righteousness from any who had found Truth.
YHWSHA Mashiach is the Way, the Truth and the Life; the ONLY way. Following any other, we were warned again and again, from Bereshith to the middle of Acts, and from Ibrim to Revelation, Not to do.
Having read the history of Yisra’el, how can anyone overlook the absence of the priestly guidance?
Lewi is compared to Esau, as having turned away from YHWH in rebellion. They were supposed to be the guardians of the Way, but they defiled themselves and all the offerings to YHWH and He no longer accepted them, or their offerings. Ya’aqob was righteous in that he obeyed everything his father had taught him and all he commanded. Therefore, YHWH loved Ya’aqob.
Esau, on the other hand, knowingly goes against his father and mother in marrying pagan women. This was his nature. It was more than rebellion that Esau did this, it was in defiance, he knew what was right and he purposely did what he had overheard his father and mother talking about, that Ya’aqob not marry a Kana’anite woman, so he runs out and marries the 1st available pagan woman he could find to add to the pagan women he already had. Therefore, YHWH hated Esau. For Esau’s defiance, and for knowing to do right, but he chose to do wrong.
Sin is a choice that we make, as we are taught in the Mashiach writings, YHWH/YHWSHA and His Ruach, if He does abide in us, WILL always provide an escape, a way to say no to that sin. We always make the choice, as YHWSHA stated: “If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuses for their sin.” We are told from the beginning the ‘requirements’ of our Elohim, we are told over and over and over again, to obey the commands of YHWH and His Torah, and as He Said; “It is NOT TOO HARD FOR YOU”. All one need do is to make a decision, do what He commanded, and circumcise your heart. If you are sincere in the desire to know YHWH and be a servant to Him, and He knows, even better than you, if you are Truly Sincere, He will help you in circumcising your heart. He will not do it for you, so don’t sit around and wait to find out if it just happens and you’re a ‘lucky’ one and you have been ‘chosen’. That is just Wrong! How can only a few be ‘chosen’, if Mashiach said He would never turn away someone who comes to Him, that sounds like your choice, and sure enough if you look at those verses in the ‘Greek’ ‘New Testament’, ‘chosen’ is not in that verse. It actually translates as “many are called, few ‘elect’.” Now, I interpret that as ‘many are called, few ‘choose’.’ Like few ‘choose’ to follow Mashiach, and if YHWSHA said He would never turn away anyone who comes to Him. And, if the word was ‘chosen’ wouldn’t the Greek read; ‘many are called, few are elected’, but that is NOT what is said, it reads; few ‘elect’, few will make the choice to follow YHWSHA Mshiach and ONLY YHWSHA Mashiach.
Why would anyone want you to believe that you have no choice in the matter and if you are one of the ‘chosen’ it is just going to happen, no matter what you do? Does that go with YHWH commanding us to “Seek His Face”? haSatan will say ANYTHING, to keep you from reaching YHWH/YHWSHA, this is just another stumbling block thrown in our path. Complacency in our walk is sin by omission, we are failing to obey His command; to Seek Him, we don’t stop seeking till we are at rest, asleep in Mashiach, ready for our next conscious thought and being in His Presence. Predestination does not relinquish your responsibility in any way, it is not; you either have it or you don’t. It is; that YHWH knows the end from the beginning, the books have already been written, your life is recorded and the judgment has been made, maybe you are in the Book of Life, or maybe in the records of abominations and transgressions. But you DO have the choice, the only way to find yourself written in the Book of Life, is to live in His image; that is what He created us to be, His image.
It is our responsibility to learn The WAY of the Father YHWH, what He has instructed us, so that we are able to stay clean and undefiled before Him. If you are not following every Word of YHWH/YHWSHA, it is rebellion, because we have His Word. Ignorance of His Torah is no excuse, Mosheh gave us the written Word of YHWH and Mashiach came and told us that every Word of the Father was still True and the requirements have not and will not ever change. YHWSHA was taking the reign of Yisra’el away from the Yahudim and was to give it to another people who would Obey. Obviously that is NOT the ‘church’, it was the ‘Few’ who ‘chose’ to follow Mhiach. Those who were quickly deemed ‘heretical’ by the church and disallowed to participate in the canonizing of the ‘bible’ or in the formation of the church, because they “…guarded the commands of YHWH and believed in Mashiach YHWSHA”. They were ‘heretics’ to the teachings of Paul, it was the followers of Paul that did form the church and canonize the ‘bible’.
We swore an Oath to obey Him. That is an absolute must in being immersed and receiving His Ruach. The same Oath that Yisra’el swore Before they crossed the Yarden to enter the Land, Through Water and Through Blood. We come to YHWH/YHWSHA in the same way, the water of immersion and the blood of circumcision, just as they were circumcised as soon as they entered the Land. We also learn through His Torah the penalties for disobedience, and again as YHWSHA re-established His Word, when saying “…not one jot or tittle will change from the Torah or the Prophets…” He pays the ‘blood’ penalty for your sins, IF you return to Him.
In our case, we are not really ‘returning’ to Him, but rather we are seeking Him to get to know Him and what He requires of us, which is no different than what He instructed for His people. Our search is somewhat more difficult, in that what Scriptural material we have, has been ‘defiled’ by “the lying pens of the scribes” and translations that are riddled with error, we have “inherited nothing but lies and worthlessness from our ‘fore-fathers’. Truth has been hidden, some lost and not yet been found, maybe lost forever, or until we are gathered and we will learn from YHWH, and He reveals all to us, pouring His Ruach, and His Torah, into our hearts and our minds.
The ways of the pagan nations, how they worshipped their gods, have slipped into our realm, through the ‘traditions’ we all have grown up with. We have to dig deep to find of these; what is of YHWH and what is not. What is ‘Clean’ and what is ‘Unclean’, shedding the unclean.
We have to shed all of the falseness, investigating the origins of everything we come into contact with, until we are sure something is not ‘unclean’. If it is found to be unclean we do away with it, repent of it.
We are to literally die in the old spirit and receive a new Ruach, and this True Ruach will lead us down the Narrow Path of Righteousness. Without it, it is impossible, with the Ruach, It is Not Too Hard, At All, like having YHWSHA at your side every minute of the day and you are totally aware of His presence. Are you going to do what is not right when He is right next to you? Seeing what you see, hearing what is being said, and knowing the hearts and minds of everyone there. And having “the fear of YHWH”, fear as in Respect, as in; “I love YHWH so much that I would not want to hurt Him.” We no longer have excuses, and His Love will always provide for a way to do what is right. Even to separating ourselves from the ‘world’ to avoid the uncleanness brought by the world.
Many examples of this have been in the news lately. A few weeks ago a woman who owns a flower shop refused to provide flowers for a same sex ‘union’, because her faith was strong, even though she had been doing business with the ‘homo-sexuals’ involved. She knows it is against the Father, I pray she holds on to the faith we have received from the Father and does not let anyone take what she has worked so hard for. Good for her!
On the other side, several political figures have come out with a ‘change of heart’ (like it is a good thing) in ‘supporting’ the gay rights issue and same sex marriages, who had, because of their ‘faith’ been opposed before, before a relative of theirs fell into that abomination. Their ‘faith’ failed them, the ‘world’ imposed morals has plucked up the weak roots of their ‘christian’ teaching.
When we forsake the precepts that define us as His, and ‘support’ those who fall into transgression, and the sin itself, we then become as they are; in a state of Transgression. Even for a son or for a daughter, we are to make every effort to bring them back, and if they refuse, turn them over to the elders. In the day, they would have been stoned to death. Today, the least we should do is to wash your hands of them and separate from the abomination. As hard as that is to do; “If you are not willing to leave your family behind, you are not worthy of following Mashiach and for sure your name is Not in His Book of Life, The earth and all that are in it, will be destroyed, but the Word of Mashiach YHWSHA will never be destroyed, it will stand For-Ever!
Those who have strayed, He calls back to Him by sending His servants the Prophets, but He will not ‘force’ anyone. Notice the succession of ‘the call’; “Hear O Yisra’el, Hear O Earth! Return to YHWH, and He will return to you”. This was the message of every Prophet of YHWH, and it must be in that order. We must repent and call to YHWH , circumcise our heart to Him and learn His Way and obey.
Lewi, like nearly all mankind, did not heed the call by YHWH, through His Prophets, and that is why there are no Lewite priests, today. Of course, our ‘High Priest’ is YHWSHA Mashiach. The priesthood continued in their ‘religion’ through the advent of Messiah. And 40 years after they murdered The Author of Life, what was left of the priesthood was stripped away from them, in or around 30 CE (when YHWH tore the veil) and the reign from the Yahudim 40 years later, in the fall of Yerushalayim in 70 CE, scattering the ‘few’ faithful followers of YHWSHA, hated by the Yahudim and later hated by the church.
The appointed ‘mission’ of Mashiach’s visit to His people, Yisra’el, has been grossly and grievously misinterpreted, whitewashed, as a Savior to all mankind and no matter how you live your secular life, as long as you have some belief in ‘jc’, you have a guaranteed ticket into heaven. You CANNOT separate your fleshly, ‘secular’, life from a spiritual life and remain ‘clean’. That is impaling Him again and again.
He is portrayed as this blonde haired, blue eyed, pretty boy with the mildest of manner, soft spoken, meek, never raising His voice or getting angry.
I submit that this is totally wrong! While it is true that He could save the whole world, one Word from Him and every heart would turn to YHWH, and His purpose was; to call or invite all nations to Him. It is His ‘desire’ that all would come to Him. But as He said: only a few make the choice to follow Him. His preaching to, and rebuking of, the Pharisees and Sadducees was neither soft nor meek, and His teachings were taught, and spoken, with ‘Authority’. When He spoke to His own Emissaries in rebuke: “…How long shall I put up with you, O’ ye of little faith”, He most certainly did get ‘righteously indignant’, He over-turned the merchants tables who were selling their temple wares in the lobby of His House. Just like the self-named ‘rabbi’, priests, ministers or reverends, any of the 'titles' He said not to call ourselves, of the congregations today, who sell their ‘wares’, in churches, synagogues and Messianic congregations today.
I submit that He came to lay down the final ultimatum, and just as everyone who He had healed during His time to become known, came to Him to be healed, we must come to Him, seeking Him, seeking His Love, then, He heals us of whatever keeps us from him, He reveals the stumbling blocks that keep us separated from Him, He makes us Clean.
Isa 28:5 In that day יהוה of hosts is for a crown of splendour and a head-dress of comeliness to the remnant of His people,
Isa 28:6 and a spirit of right-ruling to him who sits in right-ruling, and strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate.
Isa 28:7 And these too have gone astray through wine, and through strong drink wandered about. Priest and prophet have gone astray through strong drink, they are swallowed up by wine, they wander about through strong drink, they go astray in vision, they stumble in right-ruling.
Isa 28:8 For all tables shall be covered with vomit, no place without filth.
Isa 28:9 Whom would He teach knowledge? And whom would He make to understand the message? Those weaned from milk, those taken from the breasts!
Isa 28:10 For it is: command upon command, command upon command, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little.
Isa 28:11 For with a jabbering lip and a foreign tongue He speaks to this people,
Isa 28:12 to whom He said, “This is the rest, give rest to the weary,” and, “This is the refreshing.” But they would not hear.
Isa 28:13 But the Word of יהוה was to them, “Command upon command, command upon command, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little,” so that they go and shall stumble backward, and be broken and snared and taken captive.
Isa 28:14 Therefore hear the Word of יהוה, you men of scorn, who rule this people who are in Yerushalayim,
Isa 28:15 because you have said, “We have made a covenant with death, and with the grave we have effected a vision. When the overflowing scourge passes through, it does not come to us, for we have made lying our refuge, and under falsehood we have hidden ourselves.”
Isa 28:16 Therefore thus said the Master יהוה, “See, I am laying in Tsiyon a stone for a foundation, a tried stone, a precious corner-stone, a settled foundation. He who trusts shall not hasten away. [emphasis mine]
Isa 28:17 And I shall make right-ruling the measuring line, and righteousness the plummet. And the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lying, and the waters overflow the hiding place.
Isa 28:18 And your covenant with death shall be annulled, and your vision with the grave not stand. When an overflowing scourge passes through, then you shall be trampled down by it.
Isa 28:19 As often as it passes through it shall take you, for it shall pass through every morning, and by day and by night. And it shall be only trembling to understand the message.”
Isa 28:20 For the bed shall be too short for a man to stretch out on, and the covering shall be too narrow to wrap himself in it.
Isa 28:21 For יהוה rises up as at Mount Peratsim, and He is wroth as at the Valley of Giḇʽon, to do His work, His strange work, and to do His deed, His strange deed.
Isa 28:22 And now, do not be scoffers, lest your bonds be made strong. For I have heard from the Master יהוה of hosts, a destruction decreed upon all the earth.
Isa 28:23 Give ear and hear my voice, listen and hear my Word.
Isa 28:24 Does the ploughman keep ploughing all day to sow? Does he keep turning his soil and breaking the clods?
Isa 28:25 When he has leveled its surface, does he not sow the caraway and scatter the cumin, plant the wheat in rows, the barley in the appointed place, and the spelt in its place?
Isa 28:26 For He instructs him for right-ruling, his Elohim teaches him.
Isa 28:27 For caraway is not threshed with a threshing sledge, nor is a wagon wheel rolled over cumin, but caraway is beaten out with a stick, and cumin with a rod.
Isa 28:28 Grain is crushed, so one does not go on threshing it forever, nor break it with his wagon wheel, nor crush it with his horsemen.
Isa 28:29 Even this has come from יהוה of hosts, who did wonders in counsel, who made wisdom great.
Does that sound like the whole world is saved? YHWH would not have to destroy the world if all are saved?
I see a separation of those who have put their Trust, their Life in the hands of YHWSHA, He is the Right Arm of YHWH, and that Arm is strong enough to carry as many as will come to Him, we just have to give Him the control of our lives, ridding ourselves of pride and recognizing that the Esteem belongs to Him, not to us. For ‘pride’ is; seeking esteem for yourself.
Separated by those who, knowing what is right, choose to do otherwise, “It is a fearful thing, to fall into the hands of the wrathful YHWH, Elohim of Yisra’el, and the Elohim of Recompense.
Isa 53:1 Who has believed our report? And to whom was the arm of יהוה revealed?
Isa 53:2 For He grew up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or splendour that we should look upon Him, nor appearance that we should desire Him –
Isa 53:3 despised and rejected by men, a man of pains and knowing sickness. And as one from whom the face is hidden, being despised, and we did not consider Him.
Isa 53:4 Truly, He has borne our sicknesses and carried our pains. Yet we reckoned Him stricken, smitten by Elohim, and afflicted.
Isa 53:5 But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our crookednesses. The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.
Isa 53:6 We all, like sheep, went astray, each one of us has turned to his own way. And יהוה has laid on Him the crookedness of us all.
Isa 53:7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted, but He did not open His mouth. He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, but He did not open His mouth.
Isa 53:8 He was taken from prison and from judgment. And as for His generation, who considered that He shall be cut off from the land of the living? For the transgression of My people He was stricken.
Isa 53:9 And He was appointed a grave with the wrong, and with the rich at His death, because He had done no violence, nor was deceit in His mouth.
Isa 53:10 But יהוה was pleased to crush Him, He laid sickness on Him, that when He made Himself an offering for guilt, He would see a seed, He would prolong His days and the pleasure of יהוה prosper in His hand.
Isa 53:11 He would see the result of the suffering of His life and be satisfied. Through His knowledge My righteous Servant makes many righteous, and He bears their crookednesses.
Isa 53:12 Therefore I give Him a portion among the great, and He divides the spoil with the strong, because He poured out His being unto death, and He was counted with the transgressors, and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
For those who heed the call of YHWSHA Mshiach, come to Him and stay with Him, we have this Promise from the Father:
Isa 54:1 “Sing, O barren one, you who did not bear! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you who have not been in labour! For the children of the deserted one are more than the children of the married woman,” said יהוה.
Isa 54:2 “Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not. Lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes.
Isa 54:3 “For you shall break forth to the right and to the left, and your seed inherit the nations, and make the deserted cities inhabited.
Isa 54:4 “Do not fear, for you shall not be put to shame, nor hurt, you shall not be humiliated. For the shame of your youth you shall forget, and not remember the reproach of your widowhood any more.
Isa 54:5 “For your Maker is your husband, יהוה of hosts is His Name, and the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl is your Redeemer. He is called the Elohim of all the earth.
Isa 54:6 “For יהוה has called you like a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, like a wife of youth when you were refused,” declares your Elohim.
Isa 54:7 “For a little while I have forsaken you, but with great compassion I shall gather you.
Isa 54:8 “In an overflow of wrath I hid My face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness I shall have compassion on you,” said יהוה, your Redeemer.
Isa 54:9 “For this is the waters of Noaḥ to Me, in that I have sworn that the waters of Noaḥ would never again cover the earth, so have I sworn not to be wroth with you, nor to rebuke you.
Isa 54:10 “For though the mountains be removed and the hills be shaken, My kindness is not removed from you, nor is My covenant of peace shaken,” said יהוה, who has compassion on you.
Isa 54:11 “O you afflicted one, tossed with storm, and not comforted, see, I am setting your stones in antimony, and shall lay your foundations with sapphires,
Isa 54:12 and shall make your battlements of rubies, your gates of crystal, and all your walls of precious stones,
Isa 54:13 and all your children taught by יהוה, and the peace of your children great.
Isa 54:14 “In righteousness you shall be established – far from oppression, for you shall not fear, and far from ruin, for it does not come near you.
Isa 54:15 “See, they shall indeed assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever shall assemble against you falls for your sake!
Isa 54:16 “See, I Myself have created the blacksmith who blows the coals in the fire, who brings forth an instrument for his work. And I have created the waster to destroy.
Isa 54:17 “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall prove wrong. This is the inheritance of the servants of יהוה, and their righteousness from Me,” declares יהוה.
Our ‘righteousness’ is not our own, but His Righteousness comes when He comes to abide in us, if we are not walking in righteousness, He does not abide in us, and we are Not “Clean”, YHWH provides the solution:
Wash your garments, the outside of you, and Bathe (Immerse), washing your inside, circumcising your heart, repenting and embrace the shame to extinguish it, but remember the shame to know to avoid that kind of pain again, and prepare to be made Clean.
He will never turn away, anyone who turns to Him, anyone who makes themselves Clean for Him, He will protect and provide all your needs and “if we abide in Him, He will abide in us”.
To the man who inspired this study, who left the neighborhood and the city before I could finish this; Here is that Rebuke:
To: ‘name-withheld’, your language makes me unclean. When I am in your presence, and having heard it, I must now take steps and prepare to be cleansed at sunset. I cannot continue to subject myself to becoming unclean every time we meet. It is also my responsibility to rebuke/reprove you in this transgression. Your foul language is worse than idle talk, it is worse than coarse talk, and it is profane and filthy and comes from ignorance.
Your blood is on my hands as well as my own blood, if I do not warn you. You are defiling yourself with your language. YHWH will not listen to that kind of talk; that is one reason you are not getting the answers from the ‘god’ you are looking for.
If we stand before Him unclean, He will not answer, or if He does, it very well could be against you.
It becomes my sin by not rebuking the one who spoke, and if I remain there and hear more of the same, then it becomes my own crookedness. So, in the future you understand from where I stand.
When I hear wickedness, I will simply rebuke you in YHWH’s Name for causing my unclean state for the rest of that day and for the obvious transgression against YHWH and yourself.
I have fulfilled my vow in warning you and I must remove myself.
