   Enoch Calendar Study

Having studied this calendar and applying it, both from Enoch and the physical data of the equinox IN YERUSHALAYIM; I have concluded for myself this is the correct calendar that we should be using.  I have been observing the feast days according to Enoch's Calendar or 'The Creators Calendar', more appropriately, and feel strongly that Abba has blessed me.

I do have one reservation in the fact that, as was prophesied, that the year would get dislodged and no longer fall in exactly 364 days, BECAUSE they had forsaken YHWH's Calendar for the world's Babel Calendar.  There is no allowance for the difference in Enoch's writings, or in Yobelim (Jubilees).  And in Yobelim it states that the results, for us today, would be undeterminable.  I also believe that Abba knows if we are trying to return to His Truth and will make allowances for that, much more so than those who just follow along with what we are learning is very surely wrong.  That said; I will not be publishing the Calendar as I have calculated it from year to year.  There is too much argument over the date of 'the Equinox', I have explained it the best I can in the study.

My focus has been more on the building of the Remnant in righteousness and speaking the words of YHWH and YHWSHA, to Return to YHWH, with all your heart.

Everything I know about the Calendar is in this study, and in the suggested resources (at the bottom of this page). Every question that has come in e-mail and messages here, concerning the Calendar, the answer is right here.  The one point I might emphasize, again, is; the purpose of Enoch explaining the moon cycle, is to prove it cannot be the sign for the month.  it was the interpreters who translated with the wrong understanding that make this hard to see, but it explains the Yobelim statement that it was specifically the sun that establishes the month, at least the very 1st, first month, and that they would err in their feast days, because they used the moon.  And had they observed righteously, they never would have had to look at the sun after the first time.  Just keep count!  Whereas, the moon would have to be observed all the time, against Torah.  moon and month only sound alike in English.  Yerach and kodesh sound nothing alike.

Yah’s Calendar according to Enoch

This is a study about the Calendar as was given ‘The Righteous’ Enoch and passed down from days of old.  We will demonstrate that this is the Calendar that our Messiah observed when He walked among men.  This Calendar was kept and observed by the Qumran Community and was written into the Dead Sea Scrolls.

The Calendar that Yahweh gave to Enoch can be found in “The Book of Enoch” as well as “The Book of Jubilees”.  The Book of Enoch was at one time a part of Scripture, as part of the Tanahk, but was removed by the Yahudim because it points to Yahusha as the Messiah.  The first  verses of The Book of Enoch, tell us that this very thing would happen, as the Book was written for a ‘future’, distant future, generation.  We ARE that generation.  And it is time to reveal Yahweh’s Calendar to the world.  Not of our doing but in Yahweh’s Timetable, as He has set for the discovery and He is revealing this truth to His people.

Enoch 1: 1-3

The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect and the righteous, who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked are to be removed. 2. And he took up his parable and said: Enoch' a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by Elohim, saw the vision of the Set Apart One in the heavens, which the messengers showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come. 3. Concerning the elect I said, and took up my parable concerning them:

The Book of Enoch was ‘hidden’ away for a great many generations, and came back into light with the discovery of The Dead Sea Scrolls.  There were a number of copies of this Book found among the other lost texts of Scripture.  And much of the witness we have to substantiate the claims of this “Enochian Calendar” are written in these scrolls found in the Qumran caves in 1947.  While at the same time in the U.S. the establishment and restoration of the State of Yisra’el was being discussed and formed.  Is this ‘coincidence’?  I think not!

We will see shortly how the True Calendar of our Creator has been lost as a result of the rebellious and hardened hearts of our forefathers.  Enoch and the author of the Book of Jubilees make the prophecy that these things would happen, and they did!

We know, as fact, that none of the calendars in use today keep in purity the will of our Father in observing His Moedim.  This is plainly seen in the differences in ‘opinions’ of men.  What calendar one chooses to use fully depends on which form of ‘religious’ ‘doctrine’ one chooses to follow.

This past Sukkot was a perfect example!  I personally knew of at least three different groups following three different schedules for the observance of the Feast of Booths.  As we will see, there were at least three different calendars being used and observed in the days YHWSHA walked and taught His Word of Righteousness.  When the moon is hidden behind clouds for days, sometimes weeks, at a time, a feast or any event that is commanded by YHWH, can come and go, and we will have missed the appointment we had promised our Creator.  As this past Sukkot, when the group we met with had not been able to see the moon, they (‘man’) ‘declared’ the time.  This is NOT of Yah!!

There are a number of Studies about “Enoch’s Calendar” out there, of which, for the most part, we are in agreement with.  However, there are a few points that we had problems with as we studied out this Calendar.

The first of which is the day of the month of the Pagan Calendar in which is used by others to begin the first day of the first month of Yahweh’s Calendar.  In the other studies, they begin with the 20th or 21st of March.  They are basing this on the ‘world’ reckoning of the Equinox as it ‘declares’ a different day than the actual Equinox which happens in the heavens.

We do agree that Enoch’s Calendar does start on the 4th day of the week, as this is the day that YHWH assigned the Sun and the Moon and the Stars, their purposes.  In reading Bereshith 1:14-19:

Gen 1:14 And Elohim said, “Let lights come to be in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and appointed times, and for days and years,

Notice here that there is no mention of the word ‘month’. Nor is there any association of moon and month.  To make the assumption that the moon determines the beginning of the month adds to the Torah, breaking the command; “Do not add to nor take away from the Word of this Torah”.

Gen 1:15 and let them be for lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth.” And it came to be so.

Gen 1:16 And Elohim made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night, the stars.

Gen 1:17 And Elohim set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth,

Gen 1:18 and to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And Elohim saw that it was good.

Gen 1:19 And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the fourth day.

And here, from the Book of Jubilees, Chapter 2:9;

“And Elohim appointed the sun to be a great sign on the earth for days and for Sabbaths and for months and for feasts and for years and for Sabbaths of years and for jubilees and for all seasons of the years.”

So, YHWH began His 1st day of the year on the 4th day of the week.  But, in using the same day of the pagan calendar every year, to reckon the first day of YHWH’s year, that “Defiles” the 7 day cycle and in so doing makes the Sabbath Day change on which day of the week it falls every year.  We do not believe this is the way YHWH would have it work!

To further explain this, in the Enoch Calendar there are 364 days, “exactly”, and in the pagan calendar there are 365.22 days.  Which means there is a 1.22 day discrepancy every year.   If the calendar is started on the same pagan ‘date’ then an alteration of the Sabbath must be made every year.  WRONG!

The ‘Equinox’ is when the day and the night are equal.  12 hours of sunlight and 12 hours of night, ‘on the Equator’.   Something in earth’s history changed the Axis of the earth, the flood?  Possibly.  Nibiru?, also possible, we really do not know.  But one thing we do know is that it was written long ago that this would happen if ‘man’ defiled YHWH’s Calendar.  We will see this in a few moments!

If we follow the Calendar, as prescribed in Enoch, this is unnecessary.  And the difference in this 1.22 day corrects itself every 7 years, by simply adding a week.  In this way we need not break the 7 day cycle for our Sabbath Day,  and this also ‘proves’ the Sabbath Day as being the day we have observed for thousands of years.  NEVER Changing!!

The change in the earth’s axis becomes obvious when we go to find what day the Equinox does actually occur.  According to the U.S. Naval Observatory, universally used to make these calculations and are in fact scientifically sound, this ‘day’ of equal day and night, on the Equator, DOES NOT HAPPEN ! ! However, if we go to 8 degrees North of the Equator, this Equinox is really 3 days in length, and it happens around the end of the first week of (pagan) March.  This is two full weeks before the ‘world’ reckons the Equinox!

We know from Scripture that “All laws go forth from Yerushalayim” so, we use the day that we have equal day and equal night ‘IN’ Yerushalayim.  As when this Torah Command was given to Yisrael, the only method they had for determining the Equinox.  We mark the day of the Equinox in Yerushalayim, and on the first 4th day of the week, following this Equinox begins the 1st  day of the 1st month of Yah’s Calendar.

Now, the fact that we have this 1.22 day per year discrepancy, will tell us in which year we must make the adjustment, by simply adding 1 week to the end of the year in which the 31st day of the 12th month falls after the next Equinox, as we will see in Enoch and Jubilees, the 1st day of the 1st month must fall after the Equinox.

We must note in the text of Bereshith 1: 14-19, that nowhere  does YHWH say that the ‘Moon’ is the beginning of the month.  In fact, no where in Scripture does it say that the ‘moon’ has anything to do with the beginning of the month.

We know that there are many (over 5000) mistranslated words in the ‘christian’ ‘bible’.  One of which is ‘moon’.  Also note that Strong’s Concordance as most of the study materials we have and use, were and are, written, by and for, ‘christians’.   In Hebrew the word for ‘month’ is “Kodesh” and the word for ‘moon’ is “Yareach”.  And in reading the Hebrew, we find that in every case where the Scriptures are ‘translated’ to say ‘new moon’  in fact the correct translation is Kodesh = month, NOT Yareach = moon.  Hence the ‘Rosh Kodesh’ means ‘new month’.  In Scripture when the reference is to the ‘full’ moon, Yareach is used.  Even the Strong’s Concordance states that the words kodesh and Yereach are “implied” to mean ‘month/moon’.  The word ‘implied’ leaves much room for interpretation and one must have a preconceived notion that moon and month are associated.  I believe this is in error and this is confirmed in understanding the Books of Enoch and Jubilees, as I will show as we continue.  The words; moon and month are only similar in English, derived by that same assumption that we have learned from the fore-fathers, (lies and worthlessness).

We contend that the use of the moon as the beginning of the month was brought back to Yisra’el after the Exile to Babel.  As were the names of the months, being that they are the names of pagan gods, of which we are forbidden to speak as commanded by YHWH.

Having researched the history of calendars, the Hebrew calendar in use today cannot be traced back beyond the exile of Yahudah to Babel.  However the Babelian calendar dates back many centuries earlier, plus the fact that the Babel calendar and the Hebrew calendar are identical.

Note added 8/23/14 EC (11/8/14 PC (pagan cal)):  The most common question I am asked about the Enoch Calendar is about beginning the first day of the 1st month on the 4th day of the week.

Let's start with creation week.  the 'Light' that came to be on the first day of creation was NOT the sun, that 'Light' was the same light that will be in the new Heaven.  It is His 'Light' that will shine for us.

Enoch Calendar is a Solar Calendar, but unlike any moon calendar, does not require the sighting each year, or month, for that matter, to recon with.  a single observance, way back when...should have been sufficient, and from that day on it was a simple matter of counting. 364 days; 360 days + the 4 days of remembrance.  these are equally divided into 52 weeks, 7 days in each week.  this cycle can NEVER be broken.

His Calendar, being based on the Sun, could not start until the sun was created.  YHWH created the sun on the 4th day of the week.  This Enoch Calendar was observed and followed by the Essenes in the Qumran Community, as stated in the Dead Sea Scrolls, where date and day are given for all the Shabaths and Moedim of YHWH.  The Calendar must start on the 4th day of the week.  starting on any other day of the week, causes conflict in observing the Shabath day with days of preparation and or other feasts and obligations that otherwise would not be allowed on Shabath.  With adherence to the true Enoch Calendar there will never be a conflict, everything is in order.  The festivals fall on the same day of the week every year, you will never end up with a Pasach occurring on a Shabath day, as it sometimes does with the calendars in use today.

the confusion comes when you read the translations of 'the world' when Enoch is telling you that the moon is to be removed from the calculations and when 'they' translate 'month' into 'moon' keeps you confused.  Try this:  go back and read Enoch, concerning the Heavenly luminaries, replacing the word 'month' where they have interpreted it as moon.  Enoch plainly tells us that the moon's course is lacking ten days a year.  and it is by this that His prophecy has come true, the world has based His Calendar on the moon, contrary to what He commanded.

The first day of the 1st month, must start on the 4th day of the week, not the 1st day of creation.

In this Enoch Calendar we find it necessary to add a week  on occasion, this would not have ever been needed if they (the Yisra'elites) had continued to observe this calendar, but because they abandoned (forsook) His Calendar, He caused whatever it was that changed the year from 364 days to the 365.22222222222... days that our year has today.  another case of confusion dealt out by YHWH for following false teaching.

 END OF NOTE

We find the following in the Book of Jubilees chapter 6 verses 31-38:

            31. Thus it is engraven and ordained on the heavenly tables. And there is no neglecting (this commandment) for a single year ,or from year to year. 32. And command thou the children of Israel that they observe the years according to this reckoning-three hundred and sixty-four days, and (these) will constitute a complete year, and they will not disturb its time from its days and from its feasts; for everything will fall out in them according to their testimony, and they will not leave out any day nor disturb any feasts. 1 33. But if they do neglect and do not observe them according to His commandment, then they will disturb all their seasons, and the years will be dislodged from this (order), [and they will disturb the seasons and the years will be dislodged] 2 and they will neglect their ordinances. 34. And all the children of Israel will forget, and will not find the path of the years, and will forget the new months, and seasons, and sabbaths, and they will go wrong as to all the order of the years. 3 35. For I know and from henceforth shall I declare it unto thee, and it is not of my own devising; for the book (lieth) written before me, and on the heavenly tables the division of days is ordained, lest they forget the feasts of the covenant and walk according to the feasts of the Gentiles after their error and after their ignorance. 36. For there will be those who will assuredly make observations of the moon--now (it) disturbeth the seasons and cometh in from year to year ten days too soon. 4 37. For this reason the years will come upon them when they will disturb (the order), and make an abominable (day) the day of testimony, and an unclean day a feast day, and they will confound all the days, the set-apart with the unclean, and the unclean day with the set-apart; for they will go wrong as to the months and sabbaths and feasts and jubilees. 38. For this reason I command and testify to thee that thou mayest testify to them; for after thy death thy children will disturb (them), so that they will not make the year three hundred and sixty-four days only, and for this reason they will go wrong as to the new months and seasons and sabbaths and festivals, and they will eat all kinds of blood with all kinds of flesh.

As the text above was translated by those same ‘men’ who were in error of the translations of the words ‘Kodesh’ and ‘Yareach’ in Scripture, so they made the same error in these Books.  I took the liberty of making the changes to the correct translations, as I did with replacing the word ‘holy’ for the correct; ‘set-apart’.  I change the names as well and replace them with the True Qodesh Name.

By what ‘authority’, you may ask am I making these changes?  Well, frankly, by ‘logic’!  as you read these texts, you will see by logic that if the text is telling us NOT to use the ‘moon’ to reckon the months and Sabbaths and Moedim, and then state that we defile the ‘new moon’ it is logical to assume that these where mistranslated as in the Scriptures and other writings we have that incorrectly elude to the new moon being the beginning of the month.  The errors of the translators of Scripture, carries over to these writings as well.  If you question this, the texts of these books are available on the web for free download or bookmark them.  One fairly good web-site is http://www.earlyjewishwritings.com/ you may compare those texts with that which I have changed the Name and corrected the errors and draw your own conclusion.

I will also point to the use of the moon gods in the Book of Yasher.  Abram’s father worshipped a different god each month.

Yasher Chapter 9:8,9;

8 And Terah had twelve gods of large size, made of wood and stone, after the twelve months of the year, and he served each one monthly, and every month Terah would bring his meat offering and drink offering to his gods; thus did Terah all the days.

9 And all that generation were wicked in the sight of YHWH, and they thus made every man his god, but they forsook YHWH who had created them.

Terah was residing in Babel at the time.  He observed the Babelian Calendar.  The same calendar that Yahudah would later adopt and bring back to Yisra’el.  Then the Books of Jubilees and Enoch would be ignored and dropped from the Tanakh.

Here is the full text of Yasher chapter 11:15-12:43 that deals with the worship associated with the 12 months of the “Jewish” calendar that is still followed today.

15 And Terah his father was in those days, still captain of the host of king Nimrod, and he still followed strange gods.

16 And Abram came to his father's house and saw twelve gods standing there in their temples, and the anger of Abram was kindled when he saw these images in his father's house.

17 And Abram said, As YHWH lives these images shall not remain in my father's house; so shall YHWH who created me do unto me if in three days' time I do not break them all.

18 And Abram went from them, and his anger burned within him. And Abram hastened and went from the chamber to his father's outer court, and he found his father sitting in the court, and all his servants with him, and Abram came and sat before him.

19 And Abram asked his father, saying, Father, tell me where is YHWH who created heaven and earth, and all the sons of men upon earth, and who created you and me. And Terah answered his son Abram and said, Behold those who created us are all with us in the house.

20 And Abram said to his father, My adon, shew them to me I pray you; and Terah brought Abram into the chamber of the inner court, and Abram saw, and behold the whole room was full of gods of wood and stone, twelve great images and others less than they without number.

21 And Terah said to his son, Behold these are they which made all you seest upon earth, and which created me and you, and all mankind.

22 And Terah bowed down to his gods, and he then went away from them, and Abram, his son, went away with him.

23 And when Abram had gone from them he went to his mother and sat before her, and he said to his mother, Behold, my father has shown me those who made heaven and earth, and all the sons of men.

24 Now, therefore, hasten and fetch a kid from the flock, and make of it savory meat, that I may bring it to my father's gods as an offering for them to eat; perhaps I may thereby become acceptable to them.

25 And his mother did so, and she fetched a kid, and made savory meat thereof,

and brought it to Abram, and Abram took the savory meat from his mother and brought it before his father's gods, and he drew nigh to them that they might eat; and Terah his father, did not know of it.

26 And Abram saw on the day when he was sitting amongst them, that they had no voice, no hearing, no motion, and not one of them could stretch forth his hand to eat.

27 And Abram mocked them, and said, Surely the savory meat that I prepared has not pleased them, or perhaps it was too little for them, and for that reason they would not eat; therefore tomorrow I will prepare fresh savory meat, better and more plentiful than this, in order that I may see the result.

28 And it was on the next day that Abram directed his mother concerning the savory meat, and his mother rose and fetched three fine kids from the flock, and she made of them some excellent savory meat, such as her son was fond of, and she gave it to her son Abram; and Terah his father did not know of it.

29 And Abram took the savory meat from his mother, and brought it before his father's gods into the chamber; and he came nigh unto them that they might eat, and he placed it before them, and Abram sat before them all day, thinking perhaps they might eat.

30 And Abram viewed them, and behold they had neither voice nor hearing, nor did one of them stretch forth his hand to the meat to eat.

31 And in the evening of that day in that house Abram was clothed with the Spirit of YHWH .

32 And he called out and said, Woe unto my father and this wicked generation, whose hearts are all inclined to vanity, who serve these idols of wood and stone which can neither eat, smell, hear nor speak, who have mouths without speech, eyes without sight, ears without hearing, hands without feeling, and legs which cannot move; like them are those that made them and that trust in them.

33 And when Abram saw all these things his anger was kindled against his father, and he hastened and took a hatchet in his hand, and came unto the chamber of the gods, and he broke all his father's gods.

34 And when he had done breaking the images, he placed the hatchet in the hand of the great god which was there before them, and he went out; and Terah his father came home, for he had heard at the door the sound of the striking of the hatchet; so Terah came into the house to know what this was about.

35 And Terah, having heard the noise of the hatchet in the room of images, ran to the room to the images, and he met Abram going out.

36 And Terah entered the room and found all the idols fallen down and broken, and the hatchet in the hand of the largest, which was not broken, and the savory meat which Abram his son had made was still before them.

37 And when Terah saw this his anger was greatly kindled, and he hastened and went from the room to Abram.

38 And he found Abram his son still sitting in the house; and he said to him, What is this work you hast done to my gods?

39 And Abram answered Terah his father and he said, Not so my adonay, for I brought savory meat before them, and when I came nigh to them with the meat that they might eat, they all at once stretched forth their hands to eat before the great one had put forth his hand to eat.

40 And the large one saw their works that they did before him, and his anger was violently kindled against them, and he went and took the hatchet that was in the house and came to them and broke them all, and behold the hatchet is yet in his hand as you seest.

41 And Terah's anger was kindled against his son Abram, when he spoke this; and Terah said to Abram his son in his anger, What is this tale that you hast told? You speak lies to me.

42 Is there in these gods spirit, soul or power to do all you hast told me? Are they not wood and stone, and have I not myself made them, and canst you speak such lies, saying that the large god that was with them smote them? It is you that didst place the hatchet in his hands, and then say he smote them all.

43 And Abram answered his father and said to him, And how canst you then serve these idols in whom there is no power to do anything? Can those idols in which you trust deliver you? can they hear your prayers when you call upon them? can they deliver you from the hands of your enemies, or will they fight your battles for you against your enemies, that you shouldst serve wood and stone which can neither speak nor hear?

44 And now surely it is not good for you nor for the sons of men that are connected with you, to do these things; are you so silly, so foolish or so short of understanding that you will serve wood and stone, and do after this manner?

45 And forget YHWH the Most High who made heaven and earth, and who created you in the earth, and thereby bring a great evil upon your souls in this matter by serving stone and wood?

46 Did not our fathers in days of old sin in this matter, and YHWH the Most High of the universe brought the waters of the flood upon them and destroyed the whole earth?

47 And how can you continue to do this and serve gods of wood and stone, who cannot hear, or speak, or deliver you from oppression, thereby bringing down the anger of YHWH Elohim of the universe upon you?

48 Now therefore my father refrain from this, and bring not evil upon your soul and the souls of your household.

49 And Abram hastened and sprang from before his father, and took the hatchet from his father's largest idol, with which Abram broke it and ran away.

50 And Terah, seeing all that Abram had done, hastened to go from his house, and he went to the king and he came before Nimrod and stood before him, and he bowed down to the king; and the king said, What dost you want?

51 And he said, I beseech you my lord, to hear me, Now fifty years back a child was born to me, and thus has he done to my gods and thus has he spoken; and now therefore, my lord and king, send for him that he may come before you, and judge him according to the law, that we may be delivered from his evil.

52 And the king sent three men of his servants, and they went and brought Abram before the king. And Nimrod and all his princes and servants were that day sitting before him, and Terah sat also before them.

53 And the king said to Abram, What is this that you hast done to your father and to his gods? And Abram answered the king in the words that he spoke to his father, and he said, The large god that was with them in the house did to them what you hast heard.

54 And the king said to Abram, Had they power to speak and eat and do as you hast said? And Abram answered the king, saying, And if there be no power in them why dost you serve them and cause the sons of men to err through your follies?

55 Dost you imagine that they can deliver you or do anything small or great, that you shouldst serve them? And why wilt you not sense the Elohim Most High of the whole universe, who created you and in whose power it is to kill and keep alive?

56 O foolish, simple, and ignorant king, woe unto you forever.

57 I thought you wouldst teach your servants the upright way, but you hast not done this, but hast filled the whole earth with your sins and the sins of your people who have followed your ways.

58 Dost you not know, or hast you not heard, that this evil which you doest, our ancestors sinned therein in days of old, and the eternal YHWH brought the waters of the flood upon them and destroyed them all, and also destroyed the whole earth on their account? And wilt you and your people rise up now and do like unto this work, in order to bring down the anger of YHWH the Most High of the universe, and to bring evil upon you and the whole earth?

59 Now therefore put away this evil deed which you doest, and serve YHWH the Most High of the universe, as your soul is in his hands, and then it will be well with you.

60 And if your wicked heart will not hearken to my words to cause you to forsake your evil ways, and to serve the eternal YHWH, then wilt you die in shame in the latter days, you, your people and all who are connected with you, hearing your words or walking in your evil ways.

61 And when Abram had ceased speaking before the king and princes, Abram lifted up his eyes to the heavens, and he said, YAHWEH sees all the wicked, and he will judge them.

12 ABRAM DELIVERED

CHAPTER 12--Abram was placed in prison, and is condemned after ten days to be cast into a fiery furnace. His brother Haran being falsely accused is condemned to the same fate. As Haran's heart was not right before YHWH , he perished, but Abram is delivered and is brought forth alive, is presented with many gifts. The king dreams of Abram, and again seeks his Life. Abram flees to the house of Noah.

1 And when the king heard the words of Abram he ordered him to be put into prison; and Abram was ten days in prison.

2 And at the end of those days the king ordered that all the kings, princes and governors of different provinces and the sages should come before him, and they sat before him, and Abram was still in the house of confinement.

3 And the king said to the princes and sages, Have you heard what Abram, the son of Terah, has done to his father? Thus has he done to him, and I ordered him to be brought before me, and thus has he spoken; his heart did not misgive him, neither did he stir in my presence, and behold now he is confined in the prison.

4 And therefore decide what judgment is due to this man who reviled the king; who spoke and did all the things that you heard.

5 And they all answered the king saying, The man who reviles the king should be hanged upon a tree; but having done all the things that he said, and having despised our gods, he must therefore be burned to death, for this is the law in this matter.

6 If it pleases the king to do this, let him order his servants to kindle a fire both night and day in your brick furnace, and then we will cast this man into it. And the king did so, and he commanded his servants that they should prepare a fire for three days and three nights in the king's furnace, that is in Casdim; and the king ordered them to take Abram from prison and bring him out to be burned.

7 And all the king's servants, princes, lords, governors, and judges, and all the inhabitants of the land, about nine hundred thousand men, stood opposite the furnace to see Abram.

8 And all the women and little ones crowded upon the roofs and towers to see what was doing with Abram, and they all stood together at a distance; and there was not a man left that did not come on that day to behold the scene.

9 And when Abram was come, the conjurors of the king and the sages saw Abram, and they cried out to the king, saying, Our sovereign lord, surely this is the man whom we know to have been the child at whose birth the great star swallowed the four stars, which we declared to the king now fifty years since.

10 And behold now his father has also transgressed your commands, and mocked you by bringing you another child, which you didst kill.

11 And when the king heard their words, he was exceedingly wroth, and he ordered Terah to be brought before him.

12 And the king said, Hast you heard what the conjurors have spoken? Now tell me truly, how didst you; and if you shall speak truth you shall be acquitted.

13 And seeing that the king's anger was so much kindled, Terah said to the king, My lord and king, you hast heard the truth, and what the sages have spoken is right. And the king said, How couldst you do this thing, to transgress my orders and to give me a child that you didst not beget, and to take value for him?

14 And Terah answered the king, Because my tender feelings were excited for my son, at that time, and I took a son of my handmaid, and I brought him to the king.

15 And the king said Who advised you to this? Tell me, do not hide aught from me, and then you shall not die.

16 And Terah was greatly terrified in the king's presence, and he said to the king, It was Haran my eldest son who advised me to this; and Haran was in those days that Abram was born, two and thirty years old.

17 But Haran did not advise his father to anything, for Terah said this to the king in order to deliver his soul from the king, for he feared greatly; and the king said to Terah, Haran your son who advised you to this shall die through fire with Abram; for the sentence of death is upon him for having rebelled against the king's desire in doing this thing.

18 And Haran at that time felt inclined to follow the ways of Abram, but he kept it within himself.

19 And Haran said in his heart, Behold now the king has seized Abram on account of these things which Abram did, and it shall come to pass, that if Abram prevail over the king I will follow him, but if the king prevail I will go after the king.

20 And when Terah had spoken this to the king concerning Haran his son, the king ordered Haran to be seized with Abram.

21 And they brought them both, Abram and Haran his brother, to cast them into the fire; and all the inhabitants of the land and the king's servants and princes and all the women and little ones were there, standing that day over them.

22 And the king's servants took Abram and his brother, and they stripped them of all their clothes excepting their lower garments which were upon them.

23 And they bound their hands and feet with linen cords, and the servants of the king lifted them up and cast them both into the furnace.

24 And YHWH loved Abram and he had compassion over him, and YHWH came down and delivered Abram from the fire and he was not burned.

25 But all the cords with which they bound him were burned, while Abram remained and walked about in the fire.

26 And Haran died when they had cast him into the fire, and he was burned to ashes, for his heart was not perfect with YHWH ; and those men who cast him into the fire, the flame of the fire spread over them, and they were burned, and twelve men of them died.

27 And Abram walked in the midst of the fire three days and three nights, and all the servants of the king saw him walking in the fire, and they came and told the king, saying, Behold we have seen Abram walking about in the midst of the fire, and even the lower garments which are upon him are not burned, but the cord with which he was bound is burned.

28 And when the king heard their words his heart fainted and he would not believe them; so he sent other faithful princes to see this matter, and they went and saw it and told it to the king; and the king rose to go and see it, and he saw Abram walking to and fro in the midst of the fire, and he saw Haran's body burned, and the king wondered greatly.

29 And the king ordered Abram to be taken out from the fire; and his servants approached to take him out and they could not, for the fire was round about and the flame ascending toward them from the furnace.

30 And the king's servants fled from it, and the king rebuked them, saying, Make haste and bring Abram out of the fire that you shall not die.

31 And the servants of the king again approached to bring Abram out, and the flames came upon them and burned their faces so that eight of them died.

32 And when the king saw that his servants could not approach the fire lest they should be burned, the king called to Abram, O servant of YHWH who is in heaven, go forth from amidst the fire and come hither before me; and Abram hearkened to the voice of the king, and he went forth from the fire and came and stood before the king.

33 And when Abram came out the king and all his servants saw Abram coming before the king, with his lower garments upon him, for they were not burned, but the cord with which he was bound was burned.

34 And the king said to Abram, How is it that you wast not burned in the fire?

35 And Abram said to the king, YHWH of heaven and earth in whom I trust and who has all in His

power, He delivered me from the fire into which you didst cast me.

36 And Haran the brother of Abram was burned to ashes, and they sought for his body, and they found it consumed.

37 And Haran was eighty-two years old when he died in the fire of Casdim. And the king, princes, and inhabitants of the land, seeing that Abram was delivered from the fire, they came and bowed down to Abram.

38 And Abram said to them, Do not bow down to me, but bow down to YHWH of Hosts who made you, and serve Him, and go in His ways for it is He who delivered me from out of this fire, and it is He who created the souls and spirits of all men, and formed man in his mother's womb, and brought him forth into the world, and it is He who will deliver those who trust in Him from all pain.

39 And this thing seemed very wonderful in the eyes of the king and princes, that Abram was saved from the fire and that Haran was burned; and the king gave Abram many presents and he gave him his two head servants from the king's house; the name of one was Oni and the name of the other was Eliezer.

40 And all the kings, princes and servants gave Abram many gifts of silver and gold and pearl, and the king and his princes sent him away, and he went in peace.

41 And Abram went forth from the king in peace, and many of the king's servants followed him, and about three hundred men joined him.

42 And Abram returned on that day and went to his father's house, he and the men that followed him, and Abram served YHWH his Elohim all the days of his life, and he walked in his ways and followed his law.

43 And from that day forward Abram inclined the hearts of the sons of men to serve YHWH.

Let us now learn about the Calendar that was given to Enoch!

Below we find the Calendar as described by Enoch.  As stated, the 1st day begins on the 4th day of the ‘Creation Week’.  We have 4 quarters of the year, each consisting of 91 days.  30 days for each month, and 1 day added at the end of each quarter in memorial of the days of Noah and the Flood.

You will notice that each of the 4 quarters are identical in that the 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th months start on the 4th day of the week, and succeeding months also fall identical to the previous quarter.

We will find as we go from quarter to quarter and year to year, that the 4th day of the 1st month is the Sabbath Day.  This will ‘always’  be true, in the 1st month of the 2nd , 3rd and 4th quarters and from year to year.  So, every Moedim from one year to the next will fall on the same day of the week.  Passover will always fall on the 4th day of the week, at the beginning of the day at sunset, the Day of Atonement will always fall on the same day of the week, year, after year, after year.  All of Yahweh’s Moedim fall on the same day of the week every year.

Once we get this Calendar down, it is so simple to understand and keep, it will make so much more sense, than any other calendar.  Never, will there be any conflict with Yah’s Moedim with a weekly Sabbath.  The day we go to purchase, choose or acquire, the Passover Lamb, the 10th day of the 7th month, will never fall on a Sabbath.  Never, will the preparation Day for the Passover, fall on the Sabbath Day.  Every single ‘problem’ with the other calendars of the world are removed, solved!  This Calendar WORKS!!

So!!

Here is the basic layout of the “Enochian” or as I prefer; “The Creator’s Calendar”!

It is only for the reason that we are still fighting that ‘western cultural mindset’ and in our having to deal with ‘the world’ that we insert the pagan months and days.

I believe that there will come a time in our not too distant future that we will be able to do away with the pagan calendars altogether.  In the timing of our Father YHWH !!  As I believe that His Word says that all Truth will be restored.

With the basic calendar shown here, we will now read from The Book of Enoch, chapters 71 thru 81.  These are the pertinent chapters for this study, though I would encourage all to read the whole book, it is fascinating and informative.  I truly believe it should have been left as part of Scripture.

 The Book of Enoch

Chapter 1:1-2

The word of the blessing of Enoch, how he blessed the elect and the righteous, who were to exist in the time of trouble; rejecting all the wicked and unrighteous. Enoch, a righteous man, who was (1) with Elohim, answered and spoke, while his eyes were open, and while he saw a set-apart vision in the heavens. This the messengers showed me. 2From them I heard all things, and understood what I saw; that which will not take place in this generation, but in a generation which is to succeed at a distant period, on account of the elect.

The chapters pertaining to this Calendar are included here:

ENOCH 72

The Sun

72:1 The Book of the Itinerary of the Luminaries of Heaven: the position of each and every one, in respect to their ranks, in respect to their authorities, and in respect to their seasons; each one according to their names and their places of origin and according to their months, which Uri’el, the Qodesh Malakim who was with me, and who also is their guide, showed me; just as he showed me all their treatises and the nature of the years of the world unto eternity, till the new creation which abides forever is created.

72:2 This is the first commandment of the luminaries: The sun is a luminary whose egress is an opening of heaven, which is located in the direction of the east, and whose ingress is another opening of heaven, located in the west.

72:3 I saw six openings through which the sun rises and six openings through which it sets. The moon also rises and sets through the same openings, and they are guided by the stars; together with those whom they lead, they are six in the east and six; in the west heaven. All of them, are arranged one after another in a constant order. There are many windows both to the left and the right of these openings.

72:4 First, there goes out the great light whose name is the sun; its roundness is like the roundness of the sky; and it is totally filled with light and heat.

72:5 The chariot on which it ascends is driven by the blowing wind. The sun sets in the sky in the west and returns by the northeast in order to go to the east; it is guided so that it shall reach the eastern gate and shine in the face of the sky.

72:6 In this manner it rises in the first month through the major gate; it proceeds through this gate which is the fourth among those six openings which are located in the direction of the east.

72:7 By this fourth gate through which the sun rises during the first month there are twelve open windows from which a flame flows, when they are opened at the appropriate time.

72:8 When the sun rises in the east in the sky, it goes out through this fourth gate for thirty mornings and descends faithfully through the fourth gate in the western sky.

72:9 During those thirty days the day daily becomes longer and the night nightly shorter, for thirty days.

72:10 On that day, the day is longer than the night by one ninth; so the day turns out to be exactly ten parts and the night to be eight parts.

72:11 The sun rises from that fourth eastern gate and sets in the fourth western one, and then it turns and comes into the fifth gate of the east for thirty days, through which it rises, and sets in the fifth gate.

72:12 At that time the day further becomes longer and becomes eleven parts and the night shortens and becomes seven parts on account of the sun.

72:13 It then returns to the east and comes into the sixth gate, rising and setting through that sixth gate for thirty one days, according to the principle of the gate.

72:14 On that day the day becomes longer than the night still further; so the day becomes twelve parts and the night shortens and becomes six parts.

72:15 Then the sun is raised in such a way that its duration shortens and night occurs; the sun returns to the east and enters the sixth gate, rising and setting through it for thirty days.

72:16 When thirty days are completed, the day decreases exactly by one part, and becomes eleven parts, and the night seven.

72:17 Then the sun, leaving the west by that sixth gate and going to the east, rises through the fifth gate for thirty mornings and sets again in the fifth gate in the west.

72:18 On that day the day decreases by two parts; so the day becomes ten parts and the night eight parts.

72:19 Then the sun, departing from that fifth gate and setting in the fifth gate, in the west, rises in the fourth gate for thirty one days according to the principle of the gate, and sets in the west.

72:20 On that day the day is aligned with the night, so that they become equal; so the night becomes nine parts and the day nine parts.

72:21 Then the sun, departing from that gate and setting in the west, returns to the east and comes out through the third gate for thirty days, and sets in the third gate in the west.

72:22 On that day the night becomes longer than the day; it becomes longer than the previous night and the day becomes shorter than the previous day, for thirty days; so the night turns out to be exactly ten parts and the day to be eight parts.

72:23 Then the sun, departing from that third gate in the west and returning to the east, comes out through the second gate in the east for thirty days, and in the same manner it sets through the second gate in the western sky.

72:24 On that day the night becomes eleven parts and the day seven parts.

72:25 Then the sun, departing on that day from that second gate and setting in the west in the second gate, returns to the east and rises in the first gate for thirty one days, and sets on that day in the western sky.

72:26 On that day the night lengthens and becomes twelve parts, whereas the day shortens and becomes six parts.

72:27 Thus the sun completes its appearances, and goes through those same cycles of appearances a second time, coming out through all the openings for thirty days and setting also in the west opposite to it.

72:28 On that night the length of the night decreases by one ninth; so the night becomes eleven parts and the day seven parts.

72:29 Then the sun, returning and entering the second gate which is in the east, resumes its appearances for thirty mornings, rising and setting as usual.

72:30 On that day the night becomes shorter, so the night becomes ten parts and the day eight parts.

72:31 On that day the sun, departing from this second gate and setting in the west, returns to the east and rises through the third gate for thirty one days, and sets in the western sky.

72:32 On that day the night shortens and becomes nine parts and the day nine parts. Then the night becomes equal with the day, and the days of the year add up to exactly three hundred sixty four days.

72:33 The lengths of the day and the night as well as the shortness of the day and the night, are determined by the course of the circuit of the sun, and distinguished by it.

72:34 The circuit becomes longer or shorter day by day and night by night respectively.

72:35 Thus this is the order for the course of the movement and the settlement of the sun, that great luminary which is called the sun, for the duration of the years of the universe, in respect to its going in and coming out.

72:36 It is that very luminary which manifests itself in its appearance as Yahweh has commanded that it shall come out and go in, in this manner.

72:37 And neither does it diminish in respect to its brightness nor take rest but continue to run day and night. As for the intensity of its light, it is sevenfold brighter than that of the moon; nevertheless, the sun and the moon are equal in regard to their respective sizes.

I would like to interject here; first a thought about this last verse, as I have heard ‘Messianic Jews’ claim this verse 37 to ‘prove’ the Book of Enoch to be false, simply because of the phrase: “… the sun and the moon are equal in regard to their respective sizes.”

Obviously the Sun and the Moon are not the same size.  However, due to the difference in their distance to the earth, while the suntestimony from the Book of Yobelim (Jubilees), testifying to the fact that it is the ‘Sun’ that determines the year, NOT the moon.  As we will read; the moon is to be taken out of the mix in determining the months and the year.

The sun is thousands times the size of the moon, they appear in our sky to be the same size, and that is what is being stated in this verse.  They ‘appear’ to be of equal size, to us here on earth.

I also want to add here

From Yobelim Chapter 2

9 And YHWH appointed the sun to be a great sign on the earth for days and for Sabbaths and for months and for feasts and for years and for Sabbaths of years and for Yobelim and for all seasons of the years.

Also from Yobelim Chapter 6

32 And command you the children of Yisra’el that they observe the years according to this reckoning; three hundred and sixty-four days, and (these) will constitute a complete year, and they will not disturb its time from its days and from its feasts; for everything will fall out in them according to their testimony, and they will not leave out any day nor disturb any feasts.

33 But if they do neglect and do not observe them according to His commandment, then they will disturb all their seasons and the years will be dislodged from this (order), [and they will disturb the seasons and the years will be dislodged] and they will neglect their ordinances.

34 And all the children of Yisra’el will forget and will not find the path of the years, and will forget the new months, and seasons, and Sabbaths and they will go wrong as to all the order of the years.

35 For I know and from henceforth will I declare it unto you, and it is not of my own devising; for the book is written before me, and on the heavenly tablets the division of days is ordained, lest they forget the feasts of the covenant and walk according to the feasts of the gentiles after their error and after their ignorance.

36 For there will be those who will assuredly make observations of the moon; how it disturbs the seasons and comes in from year to year ten days too soon.

37 For this reason the years will come upon them when they will disturb (the order), and make an abominable (day) the day of testimony, and an unclean day a feast day, and they will confound all the days, the Qodesh with the unclean, and the unclean day with the Qodesh; for they will go wrong as to the months and Sabbaths and feasts and Yobelim.

38 For this reason I command and testify to you that you may testify to them; for after your death your children will disturb them, so that they will not make the year three hundred and sixty-four days only, and for this reason they will go wrong as to the new months and seasons and Sabbaths and festivals, and they will eat all kinds of blood with all kinds of flesh.

Again, the moon has NOTHING to do with the year or its months.  What we are discovering here in the Book of Enoch is the Calendar that YHWH created and Yisra’el followed; until they were exiled in Babel for seventy years and picked up their pagan calendar with the names of pagan gods, a different god for each month, when YHWH had commanded the Yisra’elites to not speak the names of other gods.

The Moon and Its Illuminations

We will find in these next two chapters how the moon does not coincide with the sun, it comes in ten days short every year, and it therefore is NOT to be used in the reckoning of the months.  Nowhere in any Scripture anywhere is a justification for a 13th month, all 12 of the 364 day year months are accounted for in the Scriptures, but a 13th month is nowhere to be found, this in addition to the verses above from Yobelim, prove that the true Creator’s Calendar is based wholly on the sun and detailed right here in the Book of Enoch.  It is because of this True Calendar and the testimony about Messiah in the Book of Enoch, that The Jewish Rabbis removed the Book of Enoch as part of Scripture.

73:1 After I saw this set of regulations for the sun I saw another set of regulations concerning the minor luminary whose name is moon.

73:2 Its roundness is like the roundness of the sky, and the wind drives the chariot on which it rides; and it is given light in varying measure.

73:3 It's coming out and its going in change every month. Its days are like the days of the sun; and when its light becomes evenly distributed then it amounts to one seventh of the light of the sun.

73:4 The moon rises in this manner: Its head faces the easterly direction, coming out on the thirtieth day, on that day, that is, on the thirtieth day, it comes into existence, and it appears with the sun in the gate through which the sun rises.

73:5 Considering half of it to be divisible into seven parts, the whole disk of it is without light, with the exception of one-seventh part of the fourteenth part of the light of the sun, one seventh of its half-light.

73:6 On the day when it receives one-seventh part of its one half, as the sun sets, it becomes equivalent to one-seventh light of one half of it.

73:7 Then when the sun rises, the moon rises together with it, taking a portion of one half of its light; that night the moon, just beginning its monthly journey on its first lunar day, sets with the sun and becomes dark, in respect to its thirteen parts that night. On that day it rises and shines with exactly one-seventh part of its semicircle.

73:8 Then it comes out and recedes toward the east away from where the sun rises, continuing to be brighter in one sixth of one seventh of one half of the light of the sun during the remaining days.

74:1 Furthermore, I saw another system of rotation with its own regulation whereby the system fulfills its monthly course of movement.

74:2 All these things including their fixed positions, Uri’el, the Qodesh Malakim who is the guide of all of them, showed to me. And I wrote down their fixed positions as he showed them to me; and I wrote down their months as they were, as well as the variable aspects of their illumination until the completion of fifteen days.

74:3 The moon wanes in fifteen steps during a period of fifteen days, and waxes in fourteen steps in the east and the west respectively.

74:4 In certain designated months it alters its westerly settings and in certain designated months it fulfills its unusual courses of movement.

74:5 For two months the moon sets with the sun, and uses those two middle openings which are the third and the fourth gate.

74:6 It comes out for seven days and completes a circuit as it returns again to the gate through which the sun rises. In this manner it waxes and recedes from the sun, entering the sixth gate through which the sun rises in eight days.

74:7 When the sun rises through the fourth gate the moon comes out for seven days, until it starts coming out through the fifth. It then turns back toward the fourth gate in seven days, waxing as it recedes, and enters the first gate in eight days.

74:8 Then again it returns to the fourth gate through which the sun rises in seven days.

74:9 This is how I saw their fixed positions, how the moon rises and shines when the sun sets, in those days.

74:10 If five years are combined the sun gains fifty extra days; consequently one of those five years gains, and when it is completed, it turns out to be three hundred sixty four days.

74:11 The gain of the sun and of the stars turns out to be ten days; in three years, ten days every year add up to thirty days; and the moon falls behind the sun and the stars for thirty days.

74:12 They bring about all the years punctiliously, so that they forever neither gain upon nor fall behind their fixed positions for a single day, but they convert the year with punctilious justice into three hundred sixty four days.

74:13 In three years there are one thousand and ninety two days and in five years one thousand eight hundred and twenty days, so that in eight years there are two thousand nine hundred and twelve days.

74:14 For the moon singly in three years its days add up to one thousand sixty two days, so that it falls behind by thirty days in three years.

74:15 In five years they add up to one thousand eight hundred seventy days, so that it falls behind by fifty days in five years. Thus it is for the moon.

74:16 In eight years the days add up to two thousand eight hundred thirty two days, so that it falls behind by eighty days in eight years.

74:17 In this way the years are completed with precision, in accordance with their fixed positions in the universe and the fixed stations of the sun which shine, the gate through which it the sun rises and sets for thirty days.

ENOCH 75

The Three Hundred and Sixty Four Fixed Stations of the Cosmos

75:1 The leaders of the chiefs of the thousands, which are appointed over the whole creation and upon all the stars, are counted together with the four leaders of the seasons; they do not leave from the fixed stations according to the reckoning of the year; and they render service on the four days which are not counted in the reckoning of the year.

75:2 On this account, people err in them, for those luminaries scrupulously render service to the fixed positions in the cosmos, one in the first gate of heaven, one in the third, one in the fourth, one in the fifth, and one in the sixth. In this manner the year is completed scrupulously in three hundred and sixty four fixed stations of the cosmos.

75:3 Thus the signs, the durations of time, the years, and the days were shown to me by the Malakim Uri’el, whom Yahweh, Almighty of eternal splendor, has appointed over all the luminaries of heaven, both in heaven and the world in order that they the sun, the moon, the stars, and all the created objects which circulate in all the chariots of heaven should rule in the face of the sky and be seen on the earth to be guides for the day and the night.

75:4 Likewise Uri’el showed me twelve wide openings in the sky, along the course of the chariots of the sun, from which the rays of the sun break out and from which heat is diffused upon the earth, when they are opened during the designated seasons.

75:5 Their openings affect the winds and the spirit of the dew,

75:6 that is when the twelve wide openings are opened in the sky, in the extreme ends of the earth, through which also the sun, the moon, the stars, and all the other heavenly objects come out in the west.

75:7 There are many open windows to the left and the right, but one window produces the heat at its designated time in the manner of those openings through which the stars rise in accordance with their orders and set according to their numbers.

75:8 I also saw chariots in heaven running in the universe above those opening so in which the stars that do not set revolve.

75:9 One circuit is larger than the rest of them all, and it circles the entire cosmos at the extreme ends of the earth.

The Twelve Winds and Their Gates

76:1 And I saw the twelve wide openings in all the directions through which the winds come out and blow over the earth.

76:2 Three of them are open in the forefront of the sky, three in the west, three in the right of the sky, and three on the left;

76:3 in other words the first three are those on the morning side followed by three in the direction of the north; the last three are those on the left, in the direction of the south followed by three in the west.

76:4 Through four of the openings blow out winds of blessing and through eight of them blow out winds of pestilence when they are sent in order to destroy the whole earth, the water upon her, all those who dwell upon her, and all those which exist in the waters and the dry land.

76:5 The first group of winds goes out from those openings called the easterly. Out of the first gate, which is in the direction of the east and inclines toward the south, proceed extirpation, drought, pestilence, and destruction.

76:6 Out of the second gate located directly in the center, proceed rain, and fruitfulness together with dew. Out of the third gate, which is in the direction of the northeast, proceed both cold and drought.

76:7 After these winds, there go out the southerly ones through three gates. Among these, out of the first gate, which inclines in the direction of the east, precede the winds of heat.

76:8 Out of the central gate, which is next to it, proceeds beautiful fragrance; dew, rain, shalom, and life.

76:9 And out of the third gate, in the direction of the west, proceed dew, rain, young locusts, and desolation.

76:10 After these, there goes the group of the northerly winds whose name is the Sea. There proceed from the seventh gate, which is in the direction of the east, toward the south; dew, rain, young locusts, and desolation.

76:11 Out of the central gate proceed life, rain, and dew directly; and out of the third gate, which is in the direction of the west, which inclines toward the northeast, proceed cloud, frost, snow, rain, dew, and young locusts.

76:12 After these come the fourth group of winds the westerly. Out of the first gate, which is in the northeasterly direction, proceed dew, frost, cold, snow, and hoarfrost.

76:13 Out of the central gate proceed dew, rain, shalom, and blessing. And out of the last gate, which is in the direction of the south, proceed drought, desolation, burning, and destruction.

76:14 Thus the twelve openings of the four heavenly directions are completed; all their orders, all their evil effects, and all their beneficial effects have I revealed to you, O my son, Methuselah!

The Four Directions, the Seven Mountains, and the Seven Rivers

77:1 The first direction is called the Orient, because it is the very first.

77:2 The second is called the South, because Yahweh the Most High will descend there, indeed because the Eternally Blessed will descend there.

77:3 The third direction is the Occident, its name means the diminished, because there all the luminaries of the sky wane and descend.

77:4 The fourth direction, whose name is the North, is divided into three parts: One of them is the dwelling of human beings; the second the seas of water, lakes, forests, rivers, darkness,

and clouds; and the third part the Garden of Righteousness.

77:5 I saw seven high mountains which were higher than all the mountains of the earth; out of them proceeds frost; and days and years traverse them in due season.

77:6 I saw seven rivers upon the earth, larger than all the rivers; one of them emerges from the West and empties its water into the Great Sea.

77:7 Two others come from the Northeast to the sea and empty their water into the Erythraean Sea, in the East.

77:8 The four remaining ones come out of the side of the Northeast to their own respective seas, two of them to the Erythraean Sea and two of them to the Great Sea, pouring themselves therein; some say to the seventh desert.

77:9 Seven great islands I saw in the sea and in the mainland: two in the mainland and five in the great Sea.

Names of the Sun and the Moon; Waxing and Waning of the Moon

78:1 These are the names of the sun: the first, 'Oryares and the second, Tomas.

78:2 The moon has four names: Its first name is Asenya; its second, 'Abla; the third, Banase; and the fourth, 'Era.

78:3 These are the two great luminaries. Their roundness is like the roundness of the sky; and the magnitude of their roundness is equivalent for both.

78:4 There are seven more portions of light that move in the sun's sphere than in the moon's and it increases in measure until seventy portions of the sun are completed.

78:5 The moon comes in and goes out by the western openings, and circles via the northeast and rises through the eastern openings upon the face of the earth.

78:6 When the moon begins its cycle, it appears in the sky one half of a seventh part; it will become fully illumined from the fourteenth day;

78:7 it completes its illumination the fifteenth, becoming fulfilled according to the sign of the year and becoming fifteen parts. Thus the moon waxes in fifteen parts.

78:8 In its waning, the moon decreases on the first day to fourteen parts of its light; on the second day, it decreases to thirteen parts of light; on the third, to twelve parts; on the fourth, to eleven parts; on the fifth, to ten parts; on the sixth, to nine parts; on the seventh, to eight parts; on the eighth, to seven parts; on the ninth, to six parts; on the tenth, to five parts; on the eleventh, to four parts; on the twelfth, to three parts; on the thirteenth, to one half of the preceding; on the fourteenth, all its light decreases to one half of one seventh; and on the fifteenth, all the remaining light disappears.

78:9 In certain fixed months, the moon completes its cycle every twenty nine days, in certain others, every twenty eight.

78:10 Then Uri’el showed me another order concerning when light is beamed into the moon, from which direction of the bright sun it is beamed.

78:11 During all the seasons when the moon is made to run its cycle, the light is being beamed into it the moon facing the sun until the illumination of the moon is completed in the course of fourteen days; and when it is lit completely, it radiates light in the sky.

78:12 On the first day, it is called the new moon because on that day the illumination begins to set upon it.

78:13 These illuminations are completed with exactitude on the day when the sun descends into the west, and the moon simultaneously rises in the east in the evening, shining during the night until the sun rises opposite it, and it is over against the sun.

78:14 From the same side where light entered the moon, from there also it gradually wanes until all the illumination disappears and the days of the moon expire, its disk empty without light.

78:15 The moon coordinates, in respect to its days and seasons, four three month divisions. In the course of its recession it makes three months each in thirty days and three months each in twenty nine days; during this season it makes its recession, in the first period, starting in the first gate, in one hundred and seventy seven days.

78:16 In the course of its progression, it appears three months each in thirty days and three months each in twenty nine days.

78:17 By night it appears like a man, and by day it appears like the sky; for there is no other thing in it except its light.

Conclusion of the Vision of Astronomical Laws

79:1 “Now, my son, I have revealed to you everything; the rules concerning all the stars of heaven are concluded here.”

79:2 He showed me all their respective rules for every day, for every seasons authority, and for every year; the procession of each one according to the commandment, every month and every week.

79:3 The total decrement of the moon which it makes through and into the sixth gate, for after the light of this sixth gate is disposed of from the beginning of the decrement

79:4 which it makes in returning in the first gate takes place in her own season until one hundred and seventy seven days are fulfilled, following the rule of weeks, twenty five weeks and two days.

79:5 The moon falls behind the sun according to the order of the stars exactly five days during one period (i.e. in one half year), and when the place which you behold has been traversed.

79:6 Such is the appearance and the picture of all the luminaries which Uri’el the chief Malakim, who is their leader, showed unto me.

The Vegetable and Fruit Shall Not Grow In Its Season

80:1 In those days, the malak Uri’el responded and said to me, “Behold, I have shown you everything, Enoch, and I have revealed everything to you so that you might see this sun, this moon, and those that guide the stars of heaven as well as all those who interchange their activities and their seasons and rotate their processions.

80:2 In respect to their days, the sinners and the winter are cut short. Their seeds shall lag behind in their lands and in their fertile fields, and in all their activities upon the earth. He will turn and appear in their time, and withhold rain; and the sky shall stand still at that time.

80:3 Then the vegetable shall slacken and not grow in its season, and the fruit shall not be born in its proper season.

80:4 The moon shall alter its order, and will not be seen according to its normal cycles.

80:5 In those days it will appear in the sky and it shall arrive in the evening in the extreme ends of the great lunar path, in the west. And it shall shine more brightly, exceeding the normal degree of light.

80:6 Many of the chiefs of the stars shall make errors in respect to the orders given to them; they shall change their courses and functions and not appear during the seasons which have been prescribed for them.

80:7 All the orders of the stars shall harden in disposition against the sinners and the conscience of those that dwell upon the earth. They the stars shall err against them the sinners; and modify all their courses. Then they the sinners shall err and take them the stars to be gods.

80:8 And evil things shall be multiplied upon them; and plagues shall come upon them, so as to destroy all.

The Heavenly Tablets and Enoch's Mission

81:1 Then he said unto me, "Enoch, look at the tablets of heaven; read what is written upon them and understand each element on them one by one.”

81:2 So I looked at the tablets of heaven, and read all the writing on them, and came to understand everything. I read that book and all the deeds of humanity and all the children of the flesh upon the earth for all the generations of the world.

81:3 At that very moment, I blessed the Great YHWH , the Sovereign of Splendor forever, for He has created all the phenomena in the world. I praised Yahweh because of His patience; and I wept on account of the children of the people upon the earth.

81:4 After that, I said: Blessed is the man who dies righteous and upright, against whom no record of oppression has been written, and who received no judgment on that day.

81:5 Then the seven Qodesh ones brought me and placed me on the ground in front of the gate of my house, and said to me, “Make everything known to your son, Methuselah, and show to all your children that no one of the flesh can be just before Yahweh; for they are merely His own creation.”

81:6 “We shall let you stay with your son for one year, so that you may teach your children another law and write it down for them and give all of them a warning; and in the second year, you shall be taken away from among all of them.”

81:7 “Let your heart be strong! For the upright shall announce righteousness to the upright; and the righteous ones shall rejoice with the righteous ones and congratulate each other.”

81:8 But the sinners shall die together with the sinners; and the apostate shall sink together with the apostate.

81:9 But those who do right shall not die on account of the evil deeds of the people; it will gather on account of the deeds of the evil ones.”

81:10 In those days, those seven Qodesh ones concluded speaking with me; and then I returned to my people, blessing YHWH of the Hosts.

The Four Days of Remembrance

82:1 Now, Methuselah, my son, I shall recount all these things to you and write them down for you. I have revealed to you, and given you the book concerning all these things. Preserve, my son, the book from your father's hands in order that you may pass it to the generations of the world.

82:2 I have given wisdom to you, to your children, and to those who shall become your children in order that they may pass it in turn to their own children and to the generations that are discerning.

82:3 All the wise ones shall give praise, and wisdom shall dwell upon your consciousness; they shall not slumber but be thinking; they shall cause their ears to listen in order that they may learn this wisdom; and it shall please those who feast on it more than good food.

82:4 Blessed are all the righteous ones; blessed are those who walk in the street of righteousness and have no sin like the sinners in the computation of the days in which the sun goes its course in the sky. It the sun comes in through a door and rises for thirty days together with the chiefs of the thousands of the orders of the stars, together with the four which are added to determine the intervals within the year, that is, the intervals between the four seasons of the year; those that lead them along come in on four days.

82:5 On this account there are people that err; they count them the four in the computation of the year: for the people make error and do not recognize them accurately; for they belong to the reckoning of the year.

82:6 Truly, they are recorded forever: one in the first gate, one in the third, one in the fourth, and one in the sixth. The year is completed in three hundred and sixty four days.

82:7 True is the matter of the exact computation of that which has been recorded; for Uri’el, whom Yahweh of all the creation of the world has ordered for me in order to explain the host of heaven, has revealed to me and breathed over me concerning the luminaries, the months, the festivals, the years, and the days.

82:8 He has the power in the heaven, both day and night so that He may cause the light to shine over the people; sun, moon, and stars, and all the principalities of the heaven which revolve in their respective circuits.

82:9 These are the orders of the stars which set in their respective places, seasons, festivals, and months.

82:10 And these are the names of those which lead the ones that come out and go down in their appointed seasons, which lead them in their respective places, orders, times, months, authorities, and locations.

82:11 The four leaders which distinguish the four seasons of the year enter first; after them enter the twelve leaders of the orders which distinguish the months; and the three hundred and sixty captains which divide the days and the four days of Remembrance, and leaders which divide the four seasons of the year.

82:12 These captains over thousands are added between leader and leader, each behind a place to stand; but their leaders make the division.

82:13 And these are the names of the leaders which divide the four seasons of the years which are fixed: Malki'el, Hela'emmemelek, Milay'ul, and Narel.

82:14 The names of those who lead them are 'Adnar'ul, 'Iyasus'el, 'Elum'el, these three follow the leaders of the orders, as well as the four which follow after the three leaders of the orders, which follow after those leaders of the stations that divide the four seasons of the year.

82:15 At the very beginning, Malkiyal, whose name is called Tam'ayen, and the sun rises and rules; and all the days of his authority during which he reigns are ninety one days.

82:16 And these are the signs of the days which become manifest during the period of his authority: sweat, heat, and dryness; all the trees bear fruit and leaves grow on all trees; there will be good harvest, rose flowers, and all the flowers which grow in the field; but the winter tree shall wither.

82:17 And these are the names of the leaders which are their subordinates: Berka'el, Zalebsa'el, and another additional one, a captain of a thousand, named Heluyasaf, the days of the authority of this one have been completed.

82:18 The next leader after him is Hela'emmemelek, whose name they call the bright sun; and all the days of his light are ninety one days.

82:19 And these are the days of signs upon signs upon the earth: scorching heat and drought; and trees will produce their glowing fruits and impart of their ripened ones; the sheep shall seek one another and become pregnant; and all the fruits of the earth are gathered in, and all that is in the fields as well as the wine press. These things shall take place in the days of his authority.

82:20 These are the names, the orders, and the subordinates of those captains over thousands: Geda'iyal, Helya'el, and Ki'el; and the name of the one that is added together with them is a captain over a thousand called 'Asfa'el the days of the authority of this one have been completed.
